Cuevas Medek Exercises, or CME as it is more commonly known, is arguably the most effective form of therapy for teaching children with cerebral palsy to balance and walk. From my 23 years of professional experience, CME is by far most superior to any other therapy for teaching children posture, balance, and walking ability.

Most therapists who see children with a near drowning brain-injury simply don’t know what to do with them or how to help. These kids end up being “given up on” and receive intensive therapy that is limited to prescription of wheelchairs and seating needs.
This is not something that should be blamed on the therapists though. They are simply not exposed to, how to do therapy with these types of brain-injuries.

Before starting with The Timmermans Method, I had never been involved in intensive therapy, I started in December 2019, and after a few short months I can officially say I love intensive therapy.
Intensive therapy is 2-3 hour sessions, 5 days a week for 1-3 weeks. While it sounds exhausting, it is in fact the most amazing thing I have experienced.
