Kicken or Kay formally known as Keira is a ftm trans individual who went through quite the journey. Born in a small town in the Philippines Kay's mom disappeared the next day leaving Kay in the care of her father. Her dad worked hard and eventually got a job overseas and they moved. Kay was placed in a daytime program to learn English and socialize with kids her age. This is where she met DogDay for the first time and Dogday would introduce her to the rest. The group remained friends all throughout school and even though to today. At the start of highschool Kay however began to feel general discomfort, known to be one of the best singers in choir, Kicken received what he saw as undesired attention. Being the "girl everyone admired" began to eat away at Kicken as that title didn't sit right with them. They disliked being that girl everyone loved. When getting their first home they discovered the trans community and after talking to the school councilor, came out as trans to friends, family, and teachers. Kay's dad became extremely supportive and as a gift saved money for top surgery which he received at the end of junior year of highschool. His friends were all supportive especially the girls who knew how much he'd been bothered. Before going to college Kicken had lost his dad in an unfortunate accident leaving Kicken heartbroken for loosing a major pillar in his support system. Thanks to the help of the college Kicken moved into the dorms early. With a new resolve and determination to do something with his life that is meaningful to him and as a way to connect with his dad.

Going to college for technical engineering with a minor in game design. Kicken loves to emerse himself in a good game. Kicken also does enjoy himself in the sport of roller derby. As a child he has an okay ish relationship with his spirit Itri but with the transition and in recent years the two have come to a better understanding. Making Kicken a rather decent pendant user.

Kicken while walking around one evening was approached by a gentleman who claimed that gifted pendant users should attend a certain party. Kicken at first wasn't interested but was essentially forced into the party location where while walking around ran into catnap. For Kicken it was love at first sight as the cat led him out of the party. Kicken snitten with the stranger oddly waited to run into him again and offer to go buy some drinks. Catnap accepted and the two began to become friends. Kicken would introduce catnap to his group of friends. Still in love with him. After discovering that Catnap and Dogday were dating he initially felt heartbroken, and tearily confessed his love for them both wishing for them to be happy, only to end up on a date with them and becoming poly with them. After a year of dating Kicken also moved in with DogDay and Catnap.

Kicken strives to complete school and get a good job to continue his transition journey while DogDay has offered to help him pay for his surgeries Kicken has refused, determined to do it in his own. He tends to be the life of amy party despite being an introvert mostly spending his time playing videogames when not busy with classes

DogDay (Day Samuel LePawski)

Day is described as having quite the presence. The son of a pretty famous lawyer his life has always been set for him. Due to a tragic accident shortly after receiving his magic pendant he began to ignore it's magical capabilities out of fear and didn't bond with the sun spirit, Ravi, much during childhood. This has resulted with a strained relationship with his magic and a seemingly uncontrollable nature behind it. He met most of his friends very young in a daytime class and the 7 critters had been together ever since. Day entered University and quickly completed a law degree and with his father's aid became a licensed lawyer very quickly. These days Day spends his college life exploring hobbies such as journalism and photography. He lives in a house that he owns outright.

Kicken would them introduce catnap to the group and Day developed a crush on the cat fast. The two would hang out in private and as day came to an understanding on Catnap's situation invited him to live in his guest room which catnap agreed. As the two began to know eachother more they quickly began dating. The two would be dating in secret for a year before being discovered by Kicken. Shortly after a broken confession from the bird the two talked and took Kicken out on a date that would solidify his place as the third spot in their relationship. The three maintain an open poly relationship and even have a fourth, as always they believe communication is key and do their best to maintain a healthy state.

Day himself, is someone who analyzes every situation. He's a reliable friend and always the first person to help. When someone is in need. To outsiders he tends to be scary, usually with a straight face and usually always having the last day in a debate or argument. With the addition of anger issues and while he is trying to get his powers under control he is seen as someone who can be dangerous. Despite his weekly therapy visits and magic practice.

Catnap (Catnap Tyrian Grambell)

Catnap manly referred to as Nap is known to be quiet and doesn't leave much of an impression. Catnap was raised in an orphanage and received his pendant like everyone else at the age of 5. The lonely child bonded quickly with his spirit, Lunar, thus developed a deep understanding of magic and control over his own powers from a very young age. At the age of 6 he thought he was adopted by a single father into a home where he'd be loved only to discover this was a lie told to the orphanage the reality was that Catnap was adopted by the cult leader of the very dangerous "Charm Cult" at some points of his life he held their beliefs until beginning to suffer abuse within the cult and pressure to "ascend" within it. He and his group of friends vowed they'd get out with their lives and pendants. The group consisting of Bunzo, Bee (Catbee), and Candice (candy cat) would go on to be on their best behavior as they discovered a way to leave the cult.

After graduating highschool the group was given an opportunity, go to college and recruit 5 humans or a pendant holder of equal abilities to them and they would be set free. The group took the opportunity. Catnap while at university met a group of "popular" people on accident and was kinda dragged around by them until while at a cult recruitment party, he got bumped into by nine other than Kicken. Kicken unaware of the party innocently introduced himself. Catnap feeling a sense of sympathy led him out of the party telling him it was dangerous. After the party ended he was surprised to find Kicken waited for him and offered to buy him a drink. The two grew close and Kicken would go on to introduce catnap to the other 7 critters.

Catnap intended to keep his involvement with the cult a secret to the group. Intending to travel one of them off but after being shown nothing but kindness and welcoming from the group he swore to himself he wouldn't do it and find another way to escape the cult. At this time DogDay began to grow closer to him and acted a handful of dates catnap confessed the truth to DogDay. DogDay sympathized with him and offered him his home to live away from the watching eyes of the cult. Catnap quickly agreed. And ended up falling in love with DogDay. And eventually after Kicken's confession, he fell in love with him too. Catnap is the happiest with his two partners and his alternate universe friends and "parents" as he has always used au travel as a stress reliever.

Catnap while quiet is calculating he's difficult to read and always calm. He keeps his involvement with the cult a complete secret and only lets his newfound friends know. He's an excellent magic user and knows how to keep his powers in check.

Bubba Bubbaphant!

Bubba, one of the most clever of the group. Ever since he was small he enjoyed taking apart electronics and making his own tech out of the parts. At a young age his parents places him in a day watch where he made his first friend. Crafty. He and crafty were both quiet but what drew them to each other was their spirits. Two halves of one great mind. The creative and the logical. The pair are constantly linked. Crafty and Bubba would then meet the other 5 critters. The group would stay together all through highschool. Bubba always stayed their quiet engineer often helping the critters with homework for learning things they struggled with. A long with DogDay he went to college early starting his engineering degree. The two dormed for a short while together before DogDay got his house, and while DogDay offered for Bubba to move in he refused preferring the quiet campus life. When their friends joined them in college Kicken moved into the dorm with Bubba. Around two years later Picky came up to Bubba with a proposal. "Let's get married. And the two of us can get our parents off our backs..." The two who had never really showed romantic attraction to each other nor to anyone else really ended up married and bubba moved in with picky to a brand new home. Picky ended up breaking bubba out of his shell. Getting him away from his world of tech and computers and outside. She taught him new hobbies. In turn he also taught her new hobbies and he loved to teach her about many topics she showed interest in. Slowly the pair actually started to grow affection towards each other. The two are a happy couple.

Bubba currently is still his quiet self. every so often he and Dogday go out for a couple drinks and often goes out with the group to supervise. The silent support whos always there for you when you need it. DogDay says he can be pretty sarcastic and have an attitude when he wants to though.

Crafty Corn

Crafty was born in the city to her well off eccentric parents her mother was a dancer and her father a musician. Her parents encouraged her creativity and anything "odd" to other parents. Crafty flourished she loved drawing and painting and her parents fully supported her through it. In middle school crafty's family went through a handful of tragic losses within their family. This caused a change within crafty mentally and it only worsened after her mom's death. Her art then changed to embracing the beauty of unsettling horror art and sometimes gore.

In highschool crafty started an online horror comic called "Bleeding Through Life" the comic surprisingly gained popularity and crafty began to make money off her art. In highschool she would use this money to buy things for her friends, gifts, snacks, and more.

In college, in an advanced art class one student caught her eye a very silent purple cat who would often painted birds in cages, gorgeous depictions of nebulas, and every so often flowers and scenery. Crafty admired this artist from a distance but she was always to introverted to talk to him. Then one day her dear friend Kicken would introduce this cat to the group. They recognized each other and will often draw quietly together at group hangouts.

Crafty is described as a bit of a loose screw her spirit Muse who is one half of the reality spirit embodies the spirit of chaos and the two have a great relationship sharing crazy ideas with each other. Crafty is an excellent pendant user but she doesn't use her power often.
