“I’ve been meaning to mention, I quit school.” I bite the bullet, hoping Rob won’t care about something as nonsensical as a college education when bigger shit is happening.

His face stays annoyed. “Taking an initiative, I see.”

“You did at the right time. Things are about to change, and we need every man fully committed or dead. Either you’re a gentleman all the way or you’re nothing, Harry.” He doesn’t stop there.“It would have been nice to have another degree in the family, but everyone has to sacrifice something for the cause.”
