Sams Tickletober 2025 Day 11: Praise and Compliments
It‘s like a reward :3
People always think CNC tickling is brutal and horrible, when in reality it is:
You telling your ler pre session that they can continue to tickle you even if you say "no", "stop", "wait", "not there" etc. They can safely ignore it bc you gave consent to that ahead of time
You telling your ler that pinning/restraining you when you grab their wrists/squirm/try to get away. If they stop your attempt without your specific consent in that moment (and you have consent prior to this) it's CNC.
You telling your ler they can tickle you whenever, so when you brat they just pin you down and tickle you without asking your for specific consent, knowing that consented to being tickled like this out of nowhere at an earlier point in time.
Consensual non consent means that you give consent ahead of time to something that in that moment might come across like you didn't consent at all or like you are revoking your consent (saying "no", "trying to get away etc). People's minds always immediately jump to the most extreme ideas when they hear CNC.
Even tho "sfw" scenarios like this are cnc:
Person A tickles person B. After A switches spots to a worse spot, B says "no" followed by loud laughter. A continues to tickle B bc B told them beforehand they didn't need to stop when they say no, instead they agreed on a safeword.
Most of us act on instinct when tickled. We try to get away and stop the ler, both physically and verbally. So we need CNC to even make it possible that we can have sessions.
Prior consent is always important for this kind of play dynamic. So please please please communicate with your ler. I know talking about ticking is embarrassing, but if you wanna make sure everyone stays safe you have to have a conversation about boundaries, preferences, rules etc. People cannot read your mind and you cannot read theirs so the best thing you can do is to talk before starting stuff.
And if CNC makes you uncomfortable, that is super valid, make sure to block all tags related to it to keep yourself safe. It's totally fine to have preferences!
