Hi babe! It’s my birthday tomorrow and I was wondering if you could maybe do a Richard Drabble with 15 from the prompt list maybe if you can make it a bit angsty 👀😂 thanks love ❤️
richard x gn!reader + the way you said “i love you” - 15. loud, so everyone can hear
–
The shot you throw back burns of regret and envy, scarring your throat with the familiar taste of him. His lips had the same poison on them last time you kissed him, and you can practically feel his rough touch and hot breath. The way he gripped your hips said forever, but his eyes held hesitance in them, and you wish you had remembered they were the window to the soul and saved yourself from heartbreak.
He stood just a few yards away, red hair slicked back with sweat. His earring catches the flickering lights and the little cross dangling from his lobe reflects in your direction, calling you over. You’re the hesitant one this time, though, so you stay rooted in your spot, digging your heels into the floor with as much determination as you can muster.
You don’t know who the girl with him is or why she’s so close, but you wish you didn’t care. She has just as much right to grind against him as you do to envision yourself in her spot. It’s the only birthday wish of yours you know won’t come true, even if you whisper it into the air as you blow out your candles.
The cake celebration is long forgotten, however, when Richard stalks over to you after the song blasting ends, the heavy reggaeton beat fading as his steps grow closer.
“¿Por qué me estás ignorando?” His words are hushed, but his tone is forceful. His dark and hooded eyes stare into yours, and a part of you swears he’s tearing up -- but you know better than to have hope when it comes to Richard.
“You’re busy,” you respond nonchalantly, tearing your gaze from his. When you glance around, the girl from before is long gone, but when you turn back, Richard is still there -- staring at you with an unidentifiable emotion on his features.
Then, it morphs into something more familiar -- anticipation, maybe. “So, you were watching.”
You’re shocked for a moment, and then you glare. Fire rushes through your body and you take a step closer to him. He may think your feelings are a game, but you’re about to prove him wrong.
“So that’s what this is to you? You love knowing I’m over here watching you -- that I’m the one heartbroken because I’m the one that fell in love with you.” You don’t realize you’re yelling until things go silent and everyone by the bar is staring, the air heavy with tension. At this point, you could care less, even those your hands shake with nerves and your cheeks flush in embarrassment.
“No,” Richard replies, just as fiery. “I love knowing that you’re watching because I can’t help but wish you’d walk over and take me back -- because I’m the stupid one who fell in love and let you go.”
There’s so much laughter. Your house is filled with it. In every corner of the house is a happy memory, one that most likely makes you giggle until you can’t breathe. It’s filled with lots of soft “I love you’s,” lots of reassurance that you’re the only girl in the world to him. You were never one to be needy or clingy, but he likes to remind you that you were his, and his alone, and with that, came the reminder that he was also yours.
You’re both hugely musical people, so naturally, there’s always music in the Camacho household. Showing each other new songs, making playlists that remind you of him and vice versa. It’s a way you guys feel closer, bonding over something that means so much to the both of you. Lots of late night song writing sessions, facetiming his brother with him and making endless pots of coffee as they stay up late together writing the next big hit.
There’s lots of sexual tension...to say the least. Listen, the man tours most of the year so when he is home...he can’t seem to keep his hands off of you. Anywhere you are, he is too. In the kitchen? He’s pressed up against you as you stir the food, placing small smooches up and down your neck. Washing the dishes? He ‘accidentally’ sprays our shirt so it’s tight and see through. Watching tv? 100% he’s wrapped around you like a vine, his hands skimming over your butt, using your chest as his pillow.
Not everything is butterflies and sunshine though. There’s lots of nights, too many nights where you both stay up late clutching each other, whispering soothing words to one another depending on who’s upset. For him, it’s telling him how loved he is, reassuring him that he’s essential to the band and that the fans love him, because as much as he tries to avoid it, he always ends up seeing those few nasty comments that make him spiral into a hole of self-doubt. For you, it’s reassurance that you’re the only one for him, that you’re more than enough for him, because as much as you trust him, there’s always some doubt when you’re dating a world famous superstar. Pillow talk is a very normal occurrence in the Camacho household, soft and sweet whispers about how much you loved each other, but also just stupid things, like whether you guys believed in aliens. (You don’t, he does. This leads to LOTS of late night debates)
Date nights are always a good time-- as much as you two loved to stay in and cuddle, you both are slight party animals. You both loved dressing up to go out to a new fancy restaurant, and then go dancing with his friends afterwards. Whenever you guys went out, he made sure to always have a hand on your waist to keep you close, a part of him afraid that the fans or paparazzi would bombard you guys and accidentally hurt you. Going to club was an experience--you pushed up against Richard as he grinds against you to a sexy song? Yes please. He loved how easily you got along with his friends, how much they loved you. You’d sometimes turn around to see him staring at you with a goofy smile, as if you held the moon in your hands.
“What are you looking at?”
“Nothing baby--you’re just perfect.”
Cue to you blushing and smooching him in the middle of the dance floor, leading to his friends letting out loud whoops and whistles to embarass you, making Richard just grin at you and whisper how much he loves you.

It was one in the morning, and you still were staring at the dark screen of your phone, waiting for it to light up with the contact name “baby.” You’d been waiting for hours, impatiently checking your phone since you knew the concert had ended. He always called you after the concert, to tell you about his day, what happened at soundchecks and meet and greets, if he accidentally faceplanted again on stage. He never missed a call, until now.
You had gotten restless after two hours of waiting, almost obsessively checking your phone every time it vibrated, only to be met with disappointment when it wasn’t a message or call from him. You weren’t proud of it, but you resorted to checking the social media pages. The fans could get overbearing, but they were useful when you needed them to be. Your eyes scanned the different photo’s and videos from the night, attempting to find one that stood out, something that pointed to why he hadn’t called you. You were never the needy type, but this was different. She was there. His first love, the one you always compared yourself to. She was beautiful and successful, having an already established career while you were still a struggling college student. How could you compare? She had also gotten him first, the one who captured his heart for years and ultimately broke it, leading to his player-like ways until he had met you. He was in her state, and he had always gone to visit her when he was there. Granted he never gave you a reason to think he’d cheat, but the insecurity was there.
You had almost given up on your search, but right as you were about to exit the profile, a new video popped up, a video with her face in it. You thought, “there’s no way, he wouldn’t just go visit her without letting me know, right?” Clicking on the video made your heart drop, your stomach suddenly feeling queasy. There they were, sitting awfully close on the bed as she giggled and flipped her hair and turned the camera to him, singing a sweet lullaby to her as he greeted the camera, lips upturned in a casual yet happy smile.
It felt as if you had physically gotten punched in the chest. Here you were, waiting hours for his phone call, and he hadn’t even thought to text you? Normally you’d just shoot him a text, telling him that you missed him but you were hurt and angry. Why should you try to talk to him if he wasn’t going to? Before you even realized it, you were wiping angry tears from your cheeks, angry both at yourself for feeling this way, and angry at him for making you feel like you had a reason for being angry.
Hours had passed, and sleep was still nowhere to be found. The tears you shed had long dried up, but the ache in your chest still pulsed, a constant reminder of your anger.
You were about to fall asleep when suddenly your phone screen lit up as his name popped up onto the screen. It was three in the morning and now he chose to call you? Either he was drunk, or knew he had fucked up, or both.
Your fingers hovered over the green button, itching to press accept and just forget about the whole night, wanting to hear his smooth voice and vibrant giggle, the two always putting your mind at ease before you fell asleep. But as your finger lingered about the screen, her face flashed into your head, all flirty and smiling with him reciprocating (encouraging??) it. Your eyes clenched shut, a whole new wave of sadness washing over you, making you push the red button and turn over to bury yourself into your pillow, tears still falling down your cheeks as you drifted off into a solemn sleep.
oh hey it’s quisieracnco comin at u i read ur tag that you’d write some Richard stuff for me?? so i looked at that prompt list you mentioned and i can’t decide between 5, 30, or 31 so you pick!!!!! surprise me 😌 and sfw pls, give me your most sickening fluff
richard x gn!reader + the way you said “i love you” - 5. over a beer bottle
“C’mon Richard, I think you’ve had enough for now.” You giggled, shaking your head at his tipsy antics as you tried to wrestle the beer bottle from his hands. He pouted and smacked your hands away from the Presidente, the glass still cold from when it had been in the ice chest outside.
“Apenas es la….” He held out his free hand, putting one finger up, then another as he tilted his head and squinted his eyes. “¿Tercera?”
While he was distracted, you grabbed the bottle from his hand, laughing at the scoff he let out. The sound quickly turned into a chuckle as his lips turned up at the ends, his tan cheeks harboring a pink tinge to them.
“Well, that’s not including all the rum and vodka you were chugging twenty minutes ago,” you argued, nose scrunching in playful disgust. God only knows what other alcohol people had mixed into the concoctions being passed around the house.
“I can’t believe you couldn’t even wait until dinner was done,” you teased, putting the beer bottle on the coffee table in front of you. The entire backyard and house were filled with family and friends of the Camacho’s, laughter and loud music sounding across the property. The smell of barbeque and the humid mist in the air wafted around, leaving a glisten against your skin and a hunger gnawing at your stomach for the delicious home-cooked food being prepared.
Richard just shrugged, pulling you closer to his side. The denim of his jacket was rough against your cheek as you nuzzled into his chest, the scent of his cologne and the tanginess of his breath infiltrating your nose.
His large hand swiftly moved from your shoulder to your side, before it reached your waist, where he squeezed lightly. You put your hand over his to keep it in place, feeling him smirk against the top of your head.
“Watch the hands, your family is around,” you reminded him, tapping the back of his palm. You knew the alcohol running through his system was to blame for his increased touchiness, but you didn’t want to face the teasing from Yashua or any of Richard’s other relatives if they saw the two of you cuddling up on the patio sofa outside.
Luckily, Richard seemed to heed your warning, his touches not advancing as he stayed still. If you didn’t know any better, you could’ve assumed he dozed off, but the consistent tapping of his foot against the cement to the beat of the music playing informed you he was still very much coherent.
That much was proven when, as a popular, festive song pounded through the speakers, Richard cheered along with the other partiers to the heavy beat and familiar lyrics. He stumbled over the words a couple times, but it was obvious no one cared, as almost all of the guests slurred over some of the verses.
As louder and more well-known songs blasted from the speakers, Richard squeezed your hand and leaned down to whisper in your ear. “¿Podemos ir al coche?”
You tilted your head to look up at him, raising an eyebrow. “Dinner is almost ready, though.”
He sighed, and you thought he would drop the question, but only a few seconds later he was lifting you off his side and standing up from the bench. He grabbed your hand again and started to pull you up, grinning like a dork.
“Richard,” you hissed, playfully slapping his wrist. “Can’t you at least wait until we’re done eating?”
“¡Sólo tardaremos unos minutos, te lo juro!”
You knew there was no fighting it, and frankly, you weren’t one to turn down a few moments alone with your boyfriend. You grumbled some form of agreement, any frustration in your voice contradicted by the half smile spreading across your face.
Richard was quick to lead you to back exit of the house, and you rolled your eyes when he snatched the half-empty beer bottle from the table in a last-second decision. You could feel the eyes and stifled laughs from Richard’s family, especially the gossiping aunts and grandmas, directed at you as you two snuck around the side of the house.
The colorful lights and decorations hung up around led you both to your car, lighting and directing a path off the driveway. The music was only barely muffled as you leaned against the hood of the car, and you knew the DJ inside had the volume blasting as loudly as possible.
Richard kept close to your side, one hand around your waist and the other leading the beer bottle to his lips as he nursed the rest of the alcohol.
“¿Te estás divertiendo, baby?” he asked, lowering the glass from his mouth.
“Of course, I am.” You looked at him and grinned. “You know I love spending time with you and your family.”
He hummed and bumped your side playfully. You kept your eyes locked on him, warmth spreading through your chest at his happy expression. Once he caught your gaze, you returned the look, your lips turning up the ends. He watched the movement carefully, slowly leaning down as he pulled you closer.
“A mi me alegra el poder escaparnos de ellos unos momentos.” He chuckled, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth. Once he let it go, and the skin turned redder than before, you finally tilted your head to press your lips against his, and the smirk against your mouth informed you that he had been just seconds away from initiating the touch himself.
The spice and bitterness of the Presidente still lingered in his mouth, a hint of hops and sweet corn dancing around on your tastebuds as your tongue brushed over his. His grip on you tightened as he pulled you closer, rough fingers digging into your waist. The light scruff around his lips rubbed against your skin as his mouth moved against yours.
Unfortunately, for you two, your long-awaited moment alone was soon cut off as the calls and cheers for dinner started, the sound of people gathering audible even from the front of the house.
“We have to go back in,” you murmured, pulling away from Richard. His grasp on you didn’t budge, so you could only pull a few inches away. “Everyone is going to be looking for you.”
He grumbled and attempted to lean in for a kiss again, but you were quick to slip from his grip, plucking the beer bottle from his hand as you did.
“¿Y por qué me haces esto?” he whined as you downed the rest of the liquid, the faint aroma of honey and citrus coating your tongue and throat.
You grinned at him over the lip of the bottle. “You know I love you,” you teased.
He could only nod, intertwining his fingers with yours when you grabbed his hand and started pulling him back to the house.
“Now can we please get some food? I’m starving!”

summary: erick x gender neutral!reader -- the boys drag you to their new years eve party before leaving you and erick alone to find someone to kiss when the clock strikes midnight
word count: 1.8k
warnings: partying + mentions of drinking (not by reader/erick)
a/n: ahh here it is, the first post for my new cnco blog!! i’ve been wanting to write for them for a little while now, and i’m so glad i had the opportunity of joining @quisieracnco ‘s new years collab to prompt me to do so!! tysm ali for including me and letting me write about our dear baby, erick!! hope you all enjoy and happy holidays!! xoxo - tatianna
You weren’t exactly sure why you were at a loud and crowded party on the night of the 31st, instead of spending the holiday wrapped up at home, watching whatever celebration was on television while you sipped away on some leftover drinks from Christmas.
However, your plans for a quiet night were long forgotten as you pushed between the sweaty bodies of partygoers, reggaeton blasting through the speakers and enticing the guests to sway and grind against each other to the beat. At least, that’s what everyone else was doing, leaving you the odd man out as you swerved between the partiers in a desperate search for an air pocket not contaminated by the stench of alcohol or sweat.
Luckily, it wasn’t long before you found the area, an unoccupied stairwell amidst the large house the guys had rented out for their New Year’s Eve party. The same guys who had pulled you from your apartment, insisting that joining them for the night was much better than whatever boring plans you had made by yourself.
Richard and Christopher were the most forceful in their begging, Joel and Zabdiel just chuckling quietly as the two pushed you into your closet and told you they weren’t leaving until you came out wearing something presentable. You were, of course, reluctant, since you knew how out of control the guys got when they drank, but they were your closest friends, and you knew them inviting you was their way of ensuring you didn’t feel left out.
Except, you had noticed Erick, the last of the group, looking increasingly awkward among the other rowdy guys. You knew he wasn’t the biggest partier of them all, but he did enjoy spending time with the others, especially since his younger age made him prone to feeling excluded among them.
So, as much as you wished you could avoid any form of club or party for the rest of the night, you got dressed, and squeezed into the car with them, forcing away the regret bubbling up in your stomach as they passed alcohol around and turned up the radio to full volume.
They were all scattered around the second you made it to the party, and you were left alone, cursing yourself for ever letting them use their charm to persuade you along. Now, you had no one to talk to and nothing to do except sit in the stairwell and hope that one of the guys would stumble across you sooner or later and offer you a ride home. Still, you knew how they operated, which meant you knew that all of them were probably stumbling drunk by now, flirting with whatever girls they’d decided to kiss when the clock struck midnight.
You checked your phone, letting out a sigh as the time illuminated the screen: 11:03 PM. Another hour to kill and not one of your friends in sight.
At least, that’s what you thought as you busied away on your phone for twenty minutes or so, praying that your battery would last long enough to keep you occupied until you could get home to charge it. It was during those slow minutes that you heard your name being called, a distinct yell from the blaring reggaeton and sloshing of drinks.
Your head shot up, eyes searching around the room as you looked for the source of the sound. All you could see, however, was the same group of people that had been dancing in front of you just minutes prior.
Great, you thought, looking back down at your phone. Now I’m hearing things.
Except, just seconds later, and louder than before, you heard your name being called again.
“Y/N!” You recognized the voice, Erick’s usual soft tone easily blending into the background noise of the party. You pushed yourself off the stairs and looked around the groups of people, locking eyes with him and waving him over. His toothy smile was bright in comparison to the rest of the dark room, and he quickly made his way over to you. You laughed as he scooted around people, far too timid to use any force in pushing them out of the way.
“I wondered where you went,” you joked, once he was in earshot. His sharp eyebrows furrowed and you leaned closer, repeating the words directly into his ear. You felt him tense just slightly as you neared him, and you pulled away hastily after, watching a smile spread across his face at your sentence.
Erick opened his mouth to respond before closing it. He tilted his head over to the stairwell where he knew it was quieter, indicating that you two should move the conversation there. Once you were both situated on the steps he let out a sigh of relief, resting his hands palm down beside him.
“Pensé that you were with Christopher or Richard,” he explained. “Estaba con Joel.”
“It’s not your fault.” You chuckled. “I assumed this would happen if I came, so it’s fine.”
Erick shook his head and pouted, but didn’t bother responding, knowing that what you said was true. You just bumped his shoulder playfully with your own, as if to silently tell him that all was well and you were just glad to be with him now. Of course, you’d never say that out loud, considering it would sound much too forward for a relationship as reserved as your own.
It wasn’t like you and Erick weren’t close -- if anything, he was your best friend among the guys. That had its setbacks, though, since you could never tell him about the feelings you’d been harboring towards him. It wasn’t like he was one of the other boys, the ones you could mindlessly flirt with and not fear ruining your friendship over. Erick was a deeper connection, a closer one you couldn’t risk with a hopeless crush.
The thought did make you slightly disappointed, but you were quickly brought from your thoughts when loud steps sounded behind you, making you turn and watch as Richard came down the stairs.
“Erick! Y/N!” A lopsided grin covered his face, his walking mildly staggered as he bounded down the steps. “I wondered where you two ran off to.”
He sat down on the step a few rows behind you, his long legs nearing your own form as he stretched them out. You smiled and patted his shin affectionately before looking back at Erick, who seemed more closed off than he had been when you two were alone.
“Ya va a ser medianoche,” Richard teased, leaning down to playfully sing the words. “You got anyone you’re planning on kissing yet?” You shook your head with a scoff, watching as Erick did the same.
“Ah, pues, sucks to be you, entonces. I’ve got someone waiting for me so I’m gonna need to squeeze past you two.” He stood up quickly, swaying as he caught his balance before he started to push between you and Erick.
“Richard! Deja los enamorados solitos. Can’t you see they’re waiting to spend midnight together?” Christopher came into view in the hallway, poking his tongue out and laughing loudly when Richard made it to his side, pushing into him with a glare. “Ah, ah ok ok!! Ni modo!!” Their voices trailed off as they stumbled to the next room, leaving you and Erick back to stare at each other.
“Well then..” You let out a sigh, shaking your head at the guys’ crazy antics.
“¿No tienes a quién besar?” Erick’s question caught you off guard, and you raised your eyebrow.
“Why would I?”
He didn’t seem to know how to respond to that, awkwardly shrugging and turning away from you slightly. “Es que - I just assumed.”
You laughed at that. “I assumed you would have had someone.”
He scrunched his nose and you were sure if the lights were brighter in the house, you’d see a blush spreading across his cheeks. He was so easy to embarrass sometimes.
“I guess we’ll be alone then,” you said, not too bothered by the statement. Erick seemed disappointed by it, though, as his shoulders sagged and he let out a grumbled sigh.
You rolled your eyes jokingly, and when your gaze focused back on him, you caught him staring. He was gazing directly at you, green eyes swimming with curiosity. He seemed lost in thought for just a moment, before he looked away quickly as if only then noticing the unwavering eye contact between you two.
His lips parted, a word on the tip of his tongue, before the yelling of partygoers cut him off.
“One minute!” People cheered and yelled, while your eyes widened.
“Has it really been an hour?” you mumbled to yourself, checking your phone for the countless time that night. Sure enough, the numbers 11:59 stared back at you, bright white against your lock screen.
You sighed and watched as people moved through the house to find the person they’d vowed to kiss that night, guests pushing past each other and joining together. You caught Zabdiel across the hall with his girl of the night, his hands around her waist.
You wondered how Erick felt, most likely the only guy of the group without someone to kiss. You felt bad, honestly, knowing you had taken up his last hour to find someone with small talk.
“Hey,” you turned to him to apologize but found he’d moved closer while you were distracted. “I--.” The words died in your throat as you caught him watching your lips, his own pulled between his teeth.
“Ten!” The collective shout of partiers filled the house.
“Nine!”
You swallowed heavily, and started to turn away when Erick grabbed your hand. His gaze flickered to your own, and you could see the determination swirling in his crystal irises. The corner of his lip pulled up slightly, and your heart rate picked up at the small action alone.
“What are you--”
“Five!”
“Can I?” he asked softly, licking his lips.
“Four!”
You could barely register the words before you were nodding, immediately leaning in closer.
“One!”
Your eyelids fluttered shut, lips quivering as they met Erick’s. The sweatiness of his palms and shaking of his fingers were enough indication of his nerves, and you were slightly relieved you weren’t the only one filled with tension.
He sighed softly into the kiss, the sound barely audible over the chorus of celebratory yells all around. You squeezed his hand, interlacing your fingers with his. His lips were so warm, so plush and soft, like you had always expected. His touch mirrored that as well, no force or pressure behind his gentle actions. The feeling made you smile softly, your lips barely brushing against his.
It only took a second or two before you were both grinning, finally pulling away from each other as your lips parted.
You ducked your head just slightly, shyness taking over. You could still see Erick from the corner of your eye, however, and the smirk that stayed plastered across his lips. His thumb rubbed over the back of your hand and he gently pulled you closer, leading you to rest your head against his shoulder. A soft kiss was pressed against the top of your hair, leaving you flustered as he murmured against your head, just loud enough for you to hear, “Happy New Year.”
