"I'm Penny," It was unnecessary to introduce herself as she already installed her face and voice to be recognized as his owner, but it felt like the right thing to do. "How are you feeling?"

Nervously Jeremy was sitting on the couch waiting for Michael to return from work. The older man's favorite beverage was sitting on the coffee table in front of him. ''Welcome home,'' he said as he stood up. Hiding the test in his pocket as he picked up the drink. ''I need to tell you something,'' he said as he handed the drink to Michael.

When it had come to his attention his employee had been stealing from him, Michael was almost impressed with their bravery. He always did have an eye for detail, though she probably hadn’t realized that, so it had been easy for him to identify exactly who it was.
