Giant's Ring, Belfast, County Down

This huge earthwork circle with a central dolmen is from around 2700BC, in the Neolithic period. This wasn't defensive, it was ceremonial and was an incredible place to visit and think about how many people had travelled to see this for thousands of years and how much it had meant to them. The misty evening made it feel like walking through another world.
