Coach Wymack is the only one he knows with experience of helping a former Raven de-transition from the Nest so he'll occasionally call Wymack and give a vague statement to try to see if Wymack has dealt with this with Kevin, while not giving too much away in case it's just a Jean thing.

Rhemann: So... some of my kids decided to take classes together, really stick to a buddy system sort of deal

Wymack: Yeah. It's a thing. Kevin's gotten better but he still gets anxious if he's alone.

Rhemann: Some of my players are really excelling in language arts. Which is great for their grades, but their imaginative descriptions really toe the line between feedback and a yellow card.

Wymack: Jean, right? Kid speaks three languages that I know of and I think he's most adept at insults in all of them. He had more than a few choice words for me and my team when he was out here.

Rhemann: A good thing about California is that it hardly ever rains.

Wymack: That's a good thing? Thought you guys were dealing with a drought.

Rhemann: Yeah, but sunshine and good weather most of the year. People don't have to worry about slick roads or getting wet.

Wymack: I guess?

Rhemann: Water.

Wymack: Hmm, yeah, not sure where you're getting at with this one. Whatever it is, I don't think mine had it.

Shoutout to Coach James Rhemann because oh, the man that he is. Wdym he sat his new recruit down a dozen times to try to figure out what was going on with him and why he was so moody? What do you mean he helped that same boy heal and change (to the best of his abilities) after tragedy struck harder than ever before? That he encouraged Jeremy; eventually made him into the USC Trojans’ captain? Wdym he looks out for and respects his team to the point that he transferred a motherfucker out for being hateful and biased towards Xavier? Did not kick him off the team and ruin Julian’s Exy career and future; no, Rhemann just sent him somewhere else that would be better suited for them all. Wdym he tries to help Jean but also understands that he has to be patient and go slow because Jean isn’t a normal kid? That he came running and knocked Zane off his feet, their age gap be damned? And this man likes to garden? And he’s in a loving relationship with another man who he brags about his players to? That he’s well recognized amongst his colleagues and the college league? Oh, I could talk about James Rhemann for days.

I think it’s funny how in AFTG like the joke is andreil coming out of nowhere to smack you in the face with “doesn’t mean I wouldn’t blow you” and then all the foxes are shocked in Baltimore that they’re together because the show the combined affection of an antisocial cactus

But in TSC, like everyone knows Jeremy and Jean are hot for each other. Even Lucas, who doesn’t really seem to like either of them. And they’re getting teased for it constantly. By everyone. Laila, Cat, Cody, William, I think Rhemann at one point, but they’re both like “I don’t have time to deal with all of that” then proceed to pine ridiculously and I respect them for that lol
