Crying, waiting on the plumber...
My husband is always busy. Year round. There’s spring training, summer workouts, and of course football season. He is hardly ever home. Even on the weekends he is working of stats and watching film. I’m pretty much in charge of EVERYTHING because he just simply isn’t around to take care of anything. It’s something that I have really come accustomed to and I don’t mind it at all; I actually really prefer it because I’m a control freak at heart. But for some reason, today is completely different. I didn’t call and schedule the plumber. Dustin did. Not a problem at all, one less thing on my plate. But I am the one that has to be here when the guy comes. And let me tell you, I am having an absolute pity party. I want Dustin here. I want him to be able to be home and take care of things for me. I want him to have time to fix the sink himself. I want him to be home for supper every night at a decent hour. I want Friday night dates that don’t involve 1,000 other people. Don’t get me wrong, I am so extremely proud of him and the position he holds, and the work he puts in, but days like today are hard.
