I had a lot of dramatic ideas for wait but I chose a happier slice-of-life scene. Please don't look at the background lmao. I planned to finish it but I liked the sketch lines.

CoAi Week 2025 is drawing to a close.

There's still half a day of the final prompt Reflection (Wiser), but I can already say there's been an amazing deluge of colourful Fanart, great Fanfiction (mostly featured in our AO3 Collection) and some sweet meta, focused on canon moments from the manga. 📖

We've also an incredible number of people managing to contribute to all seven days. 🙇❤️‍🔥 Respect!

Coai week prompt: Spark

@coai Somehow forgot that "hebdo" wasn't an English word, so here's a quick explanation for those who want: it's a French word, shortening of "hebdomadaire", which means "weekly". The form "hebdo" is used to refer to weekly newspapers/mags. Hence the CoAibdo randomly thrown in because I needed a placeholder title for the (imaginary, sadly) comics magazine cover.

theme #1: first impressions

to think that this is one of the first cases that haibara has ever been a part of and she immediately knows that shinichi/ conan is going to be engrossed in the puzzle because he's a detective and solving puzzles are his jam.

i love how observant she is about him right from the start and you can't convince me otherwise that she wasn't flirting with him here.
