So we’ve been having a bit of issues with our coffee maker this morning. Mind you we’ve rarely had any issues with this coffee maker in the 5 years we’ve owned it, so let’s say this is a one-off. 1) Nikki brewed a pot without a filter. Grinds made their way into all parts of the machine. 2) She then shook the grinds out of the basket into the garden outside, dropped the basket and it fell apart. 3) She cleaned it all up and decided to brew another pot with a basket that was missing a rubber stopper. It overflowed, making a mess everywhere. 4) I found the piece of the basket in the garden, cleaned it, put it back together, brewed another pot. It overflowed again. 5) I cleaned the lid of the pot, turns out it had some coffee grinds stuck in it from the first batch. -- This is me on our 4th or 5th (and hopefully final) attempt. This one looks good! The flashlight is out. I’m not taking chances. (Yes, it’s come to this.) Finally. Success!
