Today is Sunday. I've given myself some easier tasks since I got a lot done yesterday!
Feeling pretty proud at getting all the chores that had been waiting finished and getting more stuff organized.
Even though we moved in back in March, it's been a bit of a struggle to settle in and feel like this is our home after moving around so much and so much uncertainty in our lives.
But I'm finally feeling like this might be a place to be calm and rest for a while at.

Made it past 2 weeks of productivity 🙌 and I'm feeling pretty good about that. Even through the heat wave I still managed to get tasks done and take care of myself. The house is looking better than it ever has and I'm proud.
But I'm super glad the heat wave is over because I am not a 30+° person.
Sept 5-7 2023 - 12-14/100
It's been so hot the past few days my entire brain just melted away.
Still trying to keep up on my daily logs and doing what I can off them.
I took some time to read a book, sometimes when I'm feeling sad I go to the mature section of the library app and pick something from there.
This time I picked Fury, by Laurann Dohner. It's the first book of its series and I'm glad there's more to read. For a book marketed to be a sexy romp, I was surprised that there are only like 4 sex scenes in 1000 pages. Most of it is just in world drama and politics. I liked it!

Yesterday felt like a slow fall through gelatin.
Hoping today will be a bit more productive with some simple tasks.

It's Saturday and I'm not sure what to do with myself.
I'm going to try to get some more comic work done and make dinner.
The weather feels weird but if it doesn't rain then maybe I'll go for a walk later.

Yesterday was a not so great sort of day, there's been a lot of things to get down about and it's been hard to find things to stay positive about.
I'm going to try and take a walk over to the library today to get some books to read.
Here's to hoping September will be a much calmer ride!
