23/30 Today I'm shouting out the Big Hommie JD this dude saved my life one night. Dude pulled an audible on the play, bust a hard Right that kept me from making a Dumb wrong. JD kept me from making a mistake I probably would have still been on vacation like Tricky and T-Bone been on to this day. Dude was the best Gerald Levert Beard model a Baber could ever ask for. Was right there with me when I won my very first hair show as a student Barber. We don't get to see each other much but I will never forget Him or that night. It pays to have level headed people around you, I can look back on that night and the night at Two Pesos across from the lake on Harry Hines and Laugh. I'm a save some of those details for another post about another comrade. The Most High has kept me surrounded by some good peeps, and for that Today I am Grateful... 13/30 The closer it gets to the 28th the more and more I am Grateful. Looking thru my old pics I normally Do Not Like Cold Weather at all, but I kept me some leather or suede around. If 50 year old Brother Ski could have whispered in 25 year old Ski ear for a few hours, Lord Have Mercy...Man I got some throw backs, backsplash, backdrops!! I've seen some good days, I'll never complain. I have so many Wicker chair, Piano sitting, backdrop posted, Club, Concerts, Chilling pics it's crazy. I had forgotten most of it, but every now and then old school family on lock send me a pic or two that keep me shaking my head...Who was that Lil old dude. THE MOST high has had his hand on me for a mighty long time, I praise God I am in sound mind and Spirit to Give Yah The Praise.
