Yes #cockerspaniels are more prone to aggression than many breeds but it’s not down to #cockerrage! It can be fixed- the earlier you start the better! Fawndog121dogtraining.co.uk https://www.instagram.com/p/CqGxSImsSNS/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again!! It’s a myth!! #cockerrage implies it’s unfixable, something you have to live with, can’t be trained. It absolutely CAN be fixed! I see #resourceguarding every week with #cockerspaniels https://Fawndog121dogtraining.co.uk (at Kent, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiHZQcXMj8F/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
#Cockerrage has been used for decades to explain aggression in the #cockerspaniel and that is cannot be undone or helped. This is incorrect. Most of this “rage” is #resourceguardingfood or objects (a common fixable problem) or in-house aggression (which is another!). It can absolutely be changed with reward based training and strict indoor rules.
