Indulge in the decadent combination of baked pears, rich cocoa, and crunchy hazelnuts with this vegan twist on classic oatmeal. Perfect for a cozy breakfast or a satisfying dessert.
Ingredients: 2 ripe pears, sliced. 1 cup rolled oats. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. 2 tablespoons maple syrup. 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts. 1 1/2 cups almond milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375F 190C. In a baking dish, layer the sliced pears at the bottom. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, maple syrup, chopped hazelnuts, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Pour the oat mixture over the sliced pears in the baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the oats are cooked and slightly golden brown. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally topped with additional chopped hazelnuts and a drizzle of maple syrup.
