“Hey I think… I like ya partner”.
“Don’t say stupid stuff like that”. Were the last words running through as they watched Clover’s now lifeless body drop to the floor as Flowey’s vine retracted, flicking the blood off. They were in disbelief to see… the cowboy laying there as the yellow soul of [JUSTICE] manifested out of their body forming into Clover’s ghost. Both of them with eyes wide staring into each other slowly reaching out, now ghostly hands making contact with one another. Holding. They’ve held hands before when the cowboy was living but this time it felt… real. For a short moment… Just feeling them intertwined made this feel alright and was comforting though it was short lived as Flowey took everyone’s souls absorbing them… even Clover as they started to be pulled away, Chara grabbed on to the cowboy as hard as they could, tears forming. They didn’t want the cowboy to go at all. Their grip was holding on to her sleeves as tight as possible, fingers digging into the fabric trying to pull them back. The first fallen didn’t want him gone! They didn’t want the clover gone, there was so much to say to them… and time was running short.
Frisk watched from the sidelines, still taking into the shock that Flowey, their best friend, would do this and kill someone as close as Clover. As much as Chara tried to pull forward away from the weed their grip was slipping away inch by inch as the pull was strong.
“CLOVER!”. They shouted
“Well… partner…”.
“NO! Don’t you dare!”.
“Guess… I’ll see ya on the other side”.
“Clover! I love you!”. Was the last thing Chara shouted as the cowboy was pulled away, the small flower becoming Asriel Dreemurr. Tears were flowing down their cheeks, filled with distraught and shock… on one hand Asriel is here! He’s living but on the other Clover… is somewhere. They were too late to realize how much they loved Clover. To finally admit it and they felt like it was scummy to admit that when the soul of justice was being absorbed. Frisk put a hand on the fallen’s shoulder
*” Hey! We’ll get Clover back! Don’t worry…”. The human spoke in comfort
“I’ll hold you to that”.
