One Shot for Courtney
*Courtney's POV*
As I sat out in the winter cold, I was crying. It was only a couple days to Valentine's Day...but this year, I would be alone. It would soon be the most romantic day of the year and I would have no one to spend it with. Why? Because my now ex-boyfriend, Seth, chose to cheat on me with the biggest slut in the whole school...Brittany Williams...the head cheerleader. Brittany had been torturing me ever since I could remember and now she took Seth away from me. My heart was aching with pain as I started to sob.
Then, I felt a warm presence beside me and then I heard a soft Irish accent mutter to me, "Love...you shouldn't be crying....you are too beautiful to cry."
I looked up...and I saw a extremely handsome blonde-haired, bright blue eyed boy looking back upon me with a curious, but yet concerned expression. My heart started to beat faster....god he was gorgeous! "B-Beautiful? Y-You think I'm beautiful?" I asked softly. He gave me a shy smile, his eyes sparkling in the moonlight. "Yes...that's why I was drawn to you. You're...the most angelic girl I have ever seen in my entire short life of 17 years..." He answered, blushing slightly.
Those words were poetic and so well put together...that I instantly fell for him. He introduced himself as Niall Horan. We spent 2 hours out there...just talking and getting to know each other. And then, Niall cupped my cheek and asked softly, "M-May I kiss you?"
He was so adorable! I looked into his eyes, and whispered, "Yes."
A few seconds later, our lips met in an extremely gentle, soft kiss. I felt more sparks fly in that moment than any kiss with Seth...and in that kiss, I knew that Niall was the one. When we pulled away, he smiled at me and asked softly, "Courtney...be my Princess and my Valentine?"
A wide smile came to my face and I hugged him tightly, answering with the one word that I could think of, "Yes."
