Fatimah Product Coconut Shake

Obviously we are on a food hunt here in Jonker Night Market. Well, where else should we start other than the birthplace of the Original Coconut Shake? Malacca, definitely!

At the entrance of Jonker Night Market, there are two different stalls which are selling the same coconut shake oppositely. We choose a stall called Fatimah Product which seem more customers and higher popularity compare to the other stall. We bought a small cup of coconut shake for RM 4.

For you information, a coconut shake normally consists of fresh coconut flesh and coconut juice, a healthy dollop of vanilla ice-cream and then blended up with a lot of ice. It was pretty tasty to be honest. I could taste vanilla ice-cream more than the coconut which was still good. But we found that the blended ice is a little too much and we barely can taste the coconut flesh.

As for myself, I prefer the coconut shake from Klebang Original Coconut Milkshake which sells the best coconut shake in Malacca! But it is too far for us to walk to, and we were certainly not going to get a taxi to the stall just to have a coconut shake. Although this Coconut milkshake is not in the top of my list, nevertheless, it is worth giving it a try!

COCONUT MILKSHAKE

An easy way to make coconut milk shake is here. Just few ingredients need to be blended and an amazing and healthy drink is ready.

INGREDIENTS

Milk (chilled) 3/4 Glass Coconut (fresh/grated) 2 tbsp Vanilla ice cream 1 scoop (optional) Sugar as per taste Cardamom essence or cardamom powder 1/4 tsp Green food colour* 2 drops Ice cubes 2-3

Coconut Milkshake @  Jalan Klebang Besar (beside Caltex)

Under the hot sunny day, drinking a coconut or eating the ice cream i think is the most enjoy moment in the world. But what if drink a coconut and eating the ice cream at the same time under the hot sunny day? I think that is the most happiness time in the world.

Today i want to introduce a famous coconut shake at Malacca.  t’s called the Original Klebang Coconut Shake and it located at Jalan Klebang, Melaka. When you reach that and see that is a long queue, do no think that they are crazy because the Klebang Coconut Shake is worth it!!!

But usually that long queue is for the people that wan to ‘ta-pao’ (take away) the coconut shake. So you just walk into the street, there are dining area for the customer that wan to drink at there.

The dining area is big and can sit almost 100 people at the same time. I recommend to order their Coconut Shake Special which is the coconut drink with a scoop of ice cream. 

It  was a refreshing, tropical concoction with a sweet and creamy after taste from the ice cream.The mixture of coconut and vanilla was good together - the milkiness from the vanilla ice cream, fresh sweetness of the coconut juice and little bits of coconut flesh in my milkshake. You wont regret when you drink it, it is WORTH!!
