Hello doughnut lovers/ enthusiasts, 

As promised here is my review of the doughnuts from Diablo’s Doughnuts, 

Coco Pebbles:

Yeast dough doughnut (yes, I also was informed that there are different types of dough that deviate from the classic cake doughnut), dipped in dark chocolate frosting and aggressively coated in one my of my childhood favorite cereal: Coco Pebbles. The dough was light and airy, leaving enough room to enjoy the chocolatey toppings, that managed to end up all over my scarf ( aka my snack for later ;)) The pebbles were crunchy, which was a lovely surprise, along with the freshness of the dough.  

Rating: 4.5/5.0 

Sugar: 

This classic doughnut was heavenly rolled in sugar. The dough was also very light and at this point I didn’t feel guilty about devouring a doughnut about 2 minutes before this one. This doughnut is perfect for those that really want to conquer their sweet tooth without having to get a crazy/ creative doughnut. 

Rating: 4.3/5.0 

Strawberry Shortcake:

May have taken a break before eating this one, but it maintained it’s freshness. The decorative strawberries were sweet and maintained their bite. The cream cheese frosting (thankfully) did not saturate the topping. Personally, cream cheese frosting is not my favorite, but with the hint of strawberry flavor it pleased my pallet. The whipped and smooth frosting was not overwhelmingly sweet and complemented the strawberries right on top. 

Rating: 4.0/5.0 

Again, a common theme throughout these doughnuts, the dough was light and soft.  The toppings did not overwhelm the doughnuts and my sweet tooth was satisfied. After three doughnuts, it’s safe to assume that I needed to change from my high waisted jeans to leggings.
