Coco Tang

Coco Tang is a cocktail bar/ club in Nottingham. They have student night on Wednesdays where all their cocktails are half price. I first went last October and have been going ever since. I absolutely love Coco Tang and have never been to a bar as well decorated and ‘instagramable’ before. It’s also underground with the exception of a seating area above. They have a mixture of interesting cocktails called; The Burn Book, Fight club, Baby Shark, Audrey Hepburn etc. My favourite in particular is the Fight Club as they come with a mini ice cream which tastes amazing. The Audrey Hepburn is also very ‘instagramable’ as It includes a pomegranate shot floating on the top of the drink. Also, they are very affordable on a Wednesday as having 50% off, basically buy one get on free, means the cocktails come to either £4.5 or £5. On a normal day, they are either £9 or £10 which isn’t too bad either considering their cocktails.

The music is also a verity, with a mix of hip hop, pop, r&b and chart music. There are multiple rooms and they are all different. One room has cinema chairs in and another room has bar stools with low hanging bulbs in. Upstairs has a beautiful sitting room as for in the day I guess that’s where people for lunch come to sit. Personally, I have never been for lunch but dying to go. I have heard very good things about the food and seem to be a verity of different options. Overall, if you are in the midlands area I highly recommend visiting Coco Tang.

5/4/2017 Last clubbing session in Cocotang. A day worth remembering as it was my first time wearing a white-tee to club. Not to mention, Hannah bought the white-tee from Primark for me. We danced, we kissed and we had fun. Of course we have our post-clubbing routine as usual, it's mcd time!
