Last month our 'Forbideen Cuba' team was welcomed to the Arizona International Film Festival by a warm phone call from KXCI (Tucson Community Radio) asking us if we had 15 minutes to talk about our film on the air. As we had just landed and were scheduled to screen that night, we were more than happy to preach chapter and verse from the 'Forbidden Cuba' bible. Director Art Jones and co-cinematographer / co-producer Raphael Duverney grabbed a cab straight to the funky-in-the-best-way downtown were they let the faithful know. Later that evening we had a sold out screening and a very lively 45 minute panel discussion. I also learned that KXCI is home to one of the best blues reviews around.
