Mason's legacy VS civilian lifestyle?

I just wanted to talk about Mason's Legacy with you guys.
It's been a while since we talked about this beloved fic. But I've been thinking about this and Abby's bio, because I wanted to write other fics about Abby Mason without involving Mason's Legacy universe. Like a civilian life AU or something like that, without the post-apocalyptic world. And since we heard the rumours about the next black ops being set after the 2025 events, bringing back David Mason. I thought this could affect how Mason's Legacy would evolve.
So I was thinking of leaving Mason's Legacy as an AU, and giving Abby more of a normal life, without that much danger and adrenaline. You know, living her days at her home in Alaska with her retired dad and dog, preparing herself to start college, enjoying her favourite sports, even giving her a love story with someone 👀👀...
This doesn't mean I will let Mason's Legacy aside or delete it. I love this fic too much. But lately I haven't found the motivation to write. So I'll leave it there and surely one day I'll post new chapters. But for now I think it could be fun to start fresh again with a new story and background for Abby (even though almost all her cannon events will be the same ones).
So Keeping both parallel universes for Abby. Like we have Civilian!Abby And Post-apocalyptic!Abby. Maybe this way Abby could interact more easily with other OCs.
This would mean I had to update her bio (again, I'm so sorry)
