Logan leaned in close, growling his words right into Wade’s ear so Hank wouldn’t hear — though that concern was getting further and further from his mind.
“You have about sixty seconds to get us out of here, and if you touch me again I’m going to pin you up against this wall and fuck you until I’m too exhausted to stand and I won’t give a fuck who sees. Do you understand me?” He needed Wade to fucking understand how dire this situation was.
His partner nodded.
“Yup. Yup yup yup. That painted a very descriptive picture. Counterargument—”
He held up a finger and Logan barely resisted the urge to bite it off.
“Wade!”
“Gotcha. We’re leaving. Gotta let me go to do that, cupcake. ‘Atta boy.”
Logan forced his fingers to uncurl and his feet to take a step back. He took deep breaths to try to calm down but it only made matters worse because all he could smell was the way their scents were mixed on Wade’s body because he was wearing Logan’s shirt again.
Wade waved to Hank as they walked out.
