trying to convince himself he can live without Percy yet...

he just can't resist him. Nico keeps going back, Percy keeps letting him in, and each time Nico's reminded of how much he needs Percy in his life

like that's so Nico and Percy in a fwb but Nico still has all his feelings for Percy buried inside of him! yet then they part again and the cycle repeats...
