A  VALENTINE’S  APPLICATION.  your  name: Robin. your age: 18. your perfect date: I'm not good with the whole planning thing. Maybe we could find a nice place to eat, take a walk together or something? make out in private or in public?: Private. do you like to cuddle?: ...yeah. tell me something about you: I'm really good at languages so I can speak a couple 'romantic' languages. I heard people like that? why do you want to be my valentine?: You're great and you deserve a date if you haven't got one, so...

          slowly,  a  grin  tugs  at  nancy’s  lips.  robin’s  awkwardness  can  be  endearing.  and  on  top  of  that,  nancy  appreciates  the  girl  trying  to  make  her  feel  better  on  a  day  that  would’ve  otherwise  been  lonely.

          “  yeah,  okay,  ”  she  agrees  with  a  nod  and  smile.  “  i  gotta  say,  i’m  pretty  interested  in  hearing  these  ‘romantic’  languages  you’ve  got  in  store  for  me…  always  wanted  to  learn  a  couple.  ”

Okay but if Nancy likes snakes, Robin needs to know what she thinks about blue tongued skinks. She'd be too scared to touch any animal outside of a household dog or cat, but she thinks they look awesome.

um??? ok, yeah, nancy would LOVE to have one of those. she'd carry it around on her shoulder around her house / apartment (when she moves out) and she'd forget about him being on her shoulder and whenver someone comes over, they'd point it out and she'd be like, "oh, lol. he likes riding on my shoulder, so-"

she'd also name him "maverick" bc t/op g/un and t/om c/ruise lmao

oh, was the glaze that had slowly begun to form over eddie's eyes that noticeable? blinking, he gave robin a wide tight smile, a hand curling under his chin as he leaned towards her in mock interest. ❝ SORRY, ❞ he said not sounding sorry at all. ❝ just a little hard to find the need to pay attention when you've been talking in circles for — ooooooooooh ❞ he pretended to check his watch, and then reel back in shock. ❝ forty-eight minutes of my life i'll never get back ! ❞

he was being dramatic of course, and a bit of an ass... but patience wasn't necessarily his bread and butter most of the time. besides, he had come to know robin a bit, and she didn't really seem like she was really talking about what was truly on her mind. he had let her ramble on for a good while, but it didn't really seem like it was going anywhere.

turning away from the campaign notes he'd been working on before she showed up, he faced her completely and leveled her with an expectant look as he leaned back in his seat. ❝ what are you looking for ? — advice ? i thought that was you and harrington's thing ? ❞
