11: were you in any kind of clique in school?
Lena technically didn’t go to school, neither public nor private. She was tutored in private, so she did not get the chance to make any friends with peers her age unless they were family friends. Although if she were to go to school she definitely would have been in the popular / preppy group as one of the rich kids.
21: did you believe in any superstitions/myths?
Lena has the general superstitions: don’t walk under ladders, black cats, broken mirrors and the like. She’s not sure how much she actually believes in these things or if she is just performing the superstition because that is what she has been taught to do. The only thing she doesn’t believe in is that black cats are bad luck, she likes animals too much to ever think poorly of them.
30: name one positive change and one negative change you’ve undergone in the past ten years.
Over the past ten years Lena has become an excellent judge of character. In most cases (with one rare and extreme exception) she is able to to look at a person once and have a pretty good idea of what they will be like and what they might want from her. She wasn’t always so perceptive but it is a skill she’s recently honed. However, her main negative change over the past ten years is that she compulsively lies. She has always had a tumultuous relationship with the truth, but now she is to point where the lines of her reality are blurred and she is so comfortable speaking falsehoods that the truth is strange and discomforting to her.
