There are very few things that could've made Haruka happier than just hearing those words, blue eyes going wide and practically sparkling. She needed him... Muu needed him... Nobody had ever said that to him before. Nobody had ever needed him... He can feel tears pricking his eyes, but he doesn't cry - he just smiles brightly at her and nods, clasping his hands together.
"Y-yes, of course! I'll - I'll always be here for you, Muu-san..." He assures her, his voice almost desperate - because he needed her to need him. Now that he finally had what he always wanted, he wasn't sure how he'd be able to go on if she abandoned him... But she wouldn't, right? Because she needed him here. "Anything y-you want... If you really n-need me, then... I'll do anything."
