WHY AM I JUST NOW REALIZING ARTHUR DIDN'T CANONICALLY HAVE A MUSTACHE UNTIL SEASON 4???
OH MY GOSHHHHH JOHN'S AN AUTHOR AWWWWW
So proud of him I teared up
Thinking fondly of Martin K. Blackwood
I've heard David Ault in three different audio dramas, and I cannot picture any of the characters he voices without a fruity little mustache
Question about Mr. Grayson - does he enjoy his job as an Anomaly Hunter or view it as a sort of necessary evil? How did his feelings change after he made The Deal™?
AYYYY TY!!! >:DDD
Short answer: He used to enjoy it, NOW it's a necessary evil.
LONG answer: I think at first he definitely enjoyed it. He'd found something he was good at that really let him help people. Anomalies eat humans frequently so his job was a very necessary and helpful one. After The Deal™ though his perspective changed, because he wasn't hunting to help people or to earn money, he was just killing Anomalies for the sake of killing Anomalies. He couldn't stop because then his condition would grow worse much faster, so it began to wear on him. It probably feels a bit worse too to realize you're slowly becoming the things you're destroying? Like realizing that one day he'll inevitably become the hunted just like all the rest
Rusty Quill should have a weighted blanket with The Buried's symbol on it as merch, I almost doze off every time I listen to MAG152. It's just so peaceful (I'm not an avatar for The Buried guys I swear)
Every time I spend more than an hour drawing something I emerge from the office like a reanimated corpse lurching from the treeline because the Art Demon requires a piece of my youth in return for a half decent piece that will never see the light of day
An old idea for a comic is resurfacing and I fear I may be giving in. It's about pirates and adventures that live in the all encompassing void between all realities that go around exploring chunks of other realities that get pulled into the void as strange islands. Magic 8 ball guy might make an appearance if I can lock in
