Gus Smyrnios x FemReader

Synopsis - You get hit on at a bar, and when you reject the guy, he shoves you. Gus and the rest of the shore come to your defense.

‘’Where we going?’’ Nilsa asks. I shrug and look at the others.

‘’Tootsies?’’ Candice asks.

‘’I’m down for Tootsies.’’ I add. Jeremiah and Codi nod.

‘’I’m down too.’’ Gus says. I look at him, and see he’s already looking at me. I smile, and he smiles back.

‘’I’m going to go get ready.’’ I say and stand. I go up the stairs and go into the room I share with Kortni and Candace. I put on a little makeup, but I put on light red lipstick. I put on a black skater skirt and a red see-through top, with a black bra under. I look in the mirror and adjust my outfit, seeing Candace behind me dressed as well. She’s wearing a black romper with black heals and yellow accessories.

‘’I’m ready. So is Kortni. I’m not sure about Nilsa or Aimee.’’ Candace tells me. I nod and put my red heels on.

‘’Let’s just head downstairs and wait for everyone.’’ We go downstairs, and I go to the kitchen to get something to eat a little. I make myself a sandwich and lean against the counter to eat it. Candace, Kortni, and I talk, waiting for everyone to get ready. Gus is the first one down.

‘’Man, girl. Give me some.’’ He says, gesturing to me sandwich. I roll my eyes and rip it in half. He takes it and eats it in two bites.

‘’Did you even taste. Geez, Gus.’’ I laugh. Codi and Aimee come down next, then not too later come Kirk, Jeremiah and Nilsa.

I hear a car honk outside.

‘’Taxi’s here, y’all.’’ We wall go out and get in the cabs. It’s me, Kortni, Jeremiah, Kirk, and Gus in one. Nilsa, Aimee, Candace, and Codi in the other one. It’s about a ten-minute drive to Tootsies, and it goes by quick with all of us laughing the whole way.

We get to Tootsies, and we all pile into the space. I’m not going to drink too much, but knowing Kortni, Codi, Nilsa and Kirk, they probably will. I start dancing to the music with Candace and Aimee. We laugh and have a good time.

‘’I’m going to get a drink!’’ I shout over the music. Candace nods. I make my way to the bar and order a drink. I don’t know what it is, but it said watermelon and vodka in the description. Two of my favorite things.

‘’Hi, sweetheart.’’ I turn to my right and I see a man speaking to me. I can tell he’s drunk. Even though I’m next tot the bar, I can smell the alcohol on his breath.

‘’I’m sorry. I’m not interested.’’ I say as nicely as I can. He ignores what I said grabs my waist, pulling me closer to him. I look around for my friends, and Jeremiah catches my eye. I look at him, pleading for him to help me. I see him starting to make his way over, but there are so many people in his way.

‘’Come on, girl.’’ He says and gets his face closer tom my neck.

‘’No!’’ I shout and push him away with all my strength. He stumbles back a little, but even in his drunken state, he doesn’t fall to the ground.

‘’Really, you brat?’’ He pushes me, and I fall to the ground. I hit my head on a bar stool, then the ground. My vision goes hazy, but I see all the guys go the man, and all the girls fall next to me.

!!Gus’s POV!!

‘’Yo, Gus. Y/n needs us. Some guy is harassing her.’’ Jeremiah shots to me. I hit Kirk and Codi in the arm, telling them to come with us. The girls follow behind us. I get a glimpse of Y/n, and see the man has his hands on her and is close to her neck. Her eyes scream in terror and I try to get to her faster. No one is going to hurt Y/n.

‘’Excuse me. Excuse us. Watch out, please.’’ I say to the people around us. They give us dirty looks, but my gaze is focused on Y/n. She pushes the man and he stumble back. He gets his composure and goes closer to Y/n. He shoves her, and she falls.

‘’Oh, heck no!’’ I hear Kirk shout. I start running, so close to where Y/n is. I get to the guy first and I push him.

‘’What’s up, bro. Pushing girls? Really? Why don’t you try and take on me?’’ I punch him, and a fight breaks out. All of us guys are shoving and hitting whatever we can. The security comes, trying to break us up, but I don’t stop. No one lays a hand on any of our girls. Let alone Y/n.

‘’Gus! We need to leave!’’ I hear Kortni shout behind me. I shrug her off and continue trying to get at the guy.

‘’Gus, Y/n is unconscious! She’s bleeding pretty bad! We need to go to the hospital!’’ I turn to what Jeremiah is saying. I see Y/n on the ground, her head on Aimee’s leg, that is now covered in blood. I run to her and pick her up.

‘’Come on. We need to go.!’’ I shout and run out of Tootsies. I ignore the pounding in my head from where I got punched.

‘’That’s our taxi.’’ Nilsa says. I run to the van and get in, still holding Y/n.

‘’Kortni, Candace, get in here. Y’all follow us in the other van.’’ I tell them. Kortni and Candace get in and I tell the driver to go.

!!Y/n’s POV!!

I open my eyes and groan and the bright lights. I blink a few times to focus my vision and I look down to see I’m wearing a hospital gown and I have wires coming out of my arms.

‘’Hey, Y/n.’’ I turn to the voice and see Gus, then everyone from the house.

‘’How are you feeling?’’ Kortni asks me.

‘’I’ve got a headache. That’s all.’’ I reply.

‘’The doctor said you could be discharged when you woke up. We’ll go check you out. Candace, can you go get the doctor? Gus, you help Y/n get ready.’’ Says Jeremiah. They leave the room, and Gus stays behind.

‘’Are you sure you’re okay?’’ He asks. I don’t answer, the memories of what happened come back to me. That guy harassed me. A tear falls from my face, and Gus hugs me.

‘’I was so scared.’’ I cry into his shoulder.

‘’I’m so sorry.’’ He kisses my forehead, and we break away a few seconds later when the doctor and Candace in. I look to Gus and see his eyes are red. He was crying with me.

‘’Everything looks good. I’ll just take out these wires, then you can leave. Your friends have checked you out.’’ He takes out the wires, and he smiles before leaving the room.

‘’Gus, would you mind, you know? Y/n is naked under the gown, and we need her to get changed.’’ Candace motions for him to leave.

‘’No! No. Can you stay? Just turn around or something.’’ I say. He makes me feel safe, and I don’t want to be alone. I know I have Candace, but Gus will keep me calm.

‘’I can stay. Get dressed right over there, and I’ll turn around.’’ Candace helps me stand and we go to the corner. She helps me put on shorts and a shirt.

‘’You’re good, Gus.’’ He turns back around.

‘’You okay with leaving now?’’ He asks. I nod, and we leave the hospital.

We get back to the house, everyone is tired and still a little drunk. It’s four in the morning; we were in the hospital for three hours. Jeremiah helps me up the stairs, even though I tell him I can make it myself. He puts me in my bed and pulls the blankets over me.

‘’Get some rest, Y/n. I’m so sorry that happened to you.’’

‘’Thanks, Jere.’’ He kisses my forehead before turning of my light and leaving my room. I snuggle into my blankets and feel the tears coming. You read about stories about girls being harassed, but you never think something like that would happen to you.

‘’Y/n?’’ I hear a voice whisper into the darkness. I turn and see Gus’s face from the light shining in the hallway.

‘’Gus.’’ He can hear the sadness in my voice, and I can hear him coming to me. I open my blanket and he moves in next to me. He is just wearing shorts, no shirt.

‘’Are you okay?’’ I choke out a sob.

‘’No.’’ He hugs me and shushes me sweetly.

‘’It’s going to be okay, Y/n. I’m here for you.’’

‘’Thank you. For everything.’’

‘’Of course, Y/n. I love you.’’ He kisses my cheek.

‘’I love you too.’’ I lay my head on his chest and we fall asleep.

!!Third Person’s POV!!

Kortni and Candace wake up the next morning and see Y/n and Gus sleeping, snuggled into each other.

‘’I don’t see why they just don’t get together already?’’ Candace says.

‘’I know. It’s so obvious they like each other. Who knows? Maybe they’ll get together.’’

‘’Hopefully.’’ She replies, and they leave the room, not wanting to wake the two.
