Something Like Love~Chapter 20

Sophia's P.O.V~ I woke up before Cody did and decided to go downstairs and get something to drink. As I got out of bed and my feet hit the cold floor, I shivered a little and walked over and grabbed my socks out of one of my bags and slipped them on. I walked out of the room quietly and walked downstairs. I opened the fridge and just starred at it for a minute, then decided on some orange juice. I walked over and grabbed a cup out of the cabinet and then poured myself a small glass. I lend on the island and thought about how Cody asked me about my mum this morning. I sighed and tried not to think about her. You see, my mum died a week after my first birthday. She died of breast cancer and she was only 22 years old. I sighed and closed my eyes to try and put away the thought for now. My stomach growled and I smiled at the distraction. I walked over to the fridge and opened it. I was really in the mood for some bacon so I decided to make some for all of us. I also decided to make some eggs to go with it. As the bacon was done cooking and then eggs were on, I walked over and started to set the table. Soon, I heard everyone walking downstairs talking and laughing. Ali was the first one in the kitchen. I laughed as she ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "Merry Christmas!!" she said with a huge smile on her face. "And do I smell bacon?" she asked wondering off and walking over to the table. I laughed and then looked up as Mr. and Mrs. Simpson walked over to me and kissed my cheek. "It smells amazing Sophia!" Mrs. Simpson said. "Thank you. I hope you don't mind that I cooked." I said. "Of course not!" they said at the same time. I smiled as then both told Ali to wait for everyone else and then they left to the table too. I looked back up and seen Cody standing their starring at me with a smile across his lips. "Yes?" I asked raising my eyebrows at him. He walked closer to me. "You're amazing, you know that right?" he said wrapping is arms around me. I smiled. "Yeah I know." I said with a giggle. Cody smiled his beautiful smile at me. "I mean it. You're the best girlfriend any guy could ask for." he said and I felt myself blush and I looked down. Cody put his hand under my chin and brought my attention back up to him. He lend down and placed a soft kiss on my lips. I smiled and then said that we should get to the table. "If we must." he said and I laughed. Cody reached down and interlocked his hand with mine as we walked into the room. I sat down in between Cody and Ali. Ali slipped her hand in mine as we said grace. Once we were all done, we all let go of each others hands and started to eat. I looked over at Cody as he moved his hand under the table and placed it on my knee. He smerk on his face and he looked away. "To can play at this game." I thought to myself. I moved my hand and rested it on his. I waited till he started talking to his mum and dad about the party tonight to moved my hand over to his leg. Only, my hand wen't onto his thigh while his rested on my knee. I looked over to him as I did this and seen his jaw clench and I smiled to myself. "Round two-Sophia." I thought and then looked back over to Ali as she started talking to me about how she didn't know what to wear tonight. I started to say something to her but my breath was trapped in my chest as I felt his hand slowly move up my leg and stop just under my hip. I looked over at him and he was smiling at me. "Round three-Cody." I sighed. I looked away from him and back at Ali. "You know Ali, you should really come back to Middleton with me. Their are some amazing shops their that I think you would love." I said. "Not to mention the cute country boys that are everywhere." after I said that, Cody's grip got tighter and I moved my hand up his at the same time. "That sounds amazing! Maybe for the New Years or something? I know you and Cody are flying out tonight after the party, maybe we could work something out?" she said looking at her parents. "Yeah. That would be perfect!" I said and she smiled bigger. Ali got lend over and hugged me tightly and said thank you. "For what?" I asked her with a smile. "Just...everything!" she said. "Well, you're welcome." I said. "Hey Sophia, don't you think we should go and pack our stuff for tonight?" I heard Cody ask and I looked over at him. He looked back with pleading eyes. "Um, yeah I guess so." I said and looked away. Cody moved his hand off my leg and I got up to wash my dishes but I was stopped by Mrs. Simpson. "I'll take care of that since you cooked breakfast." "Are you sure?" I asked her. "Of course! Go on and pack." she said with a smile. "Thank you." I called back to her as Cody came and took my hand and dragged me up the stairs. Cody pulled me into the room and closed the door behind him. He turned to me and pushed me up on the wall. He looked at me with love and lust in his eyes and I felt myself smile. Cody lend so that both of his arms were on either side of me and I was trapped in the middle of him. I stepped closer to him, pushing my body on his. Next thing I know, Cody crashed his lips on him while wrapping his arms around my waist tightly. Our tongues entwined with each other and I felt Cody lift me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he gripped me tighter. We went over to the bed and laid down, all without breaking away from our kiss. Cody moved so that we were laying down and his body was fully on mine. He broke away from our kiss, only to bend down and start kissing my neck, leaving a few love bites. I started gasping for air the moment our lips were apart. I moved so that my hands were entangled in his hair. I felt him smile on my neck and I smiled too. "Man, if that's what I get for putting my hand on you're leg..." he said and I laughed. "Hey, you started it!" I said. "Yeah yeah. But don't even act like it bothered you." he said. "I'm not." I said. Cody looked down at me with his beautiful blue eyes and smiled. I cupped his face with my hands. "I love you." "I love you too, Sophia." he said. "Now, I think we should get up before someone walks in." I laughed. "Yeah, I guess so." he said standing up and taking me with him. Just then their was a knock on the door. "Come in." he said as I was looking through my suite case for something to wear. "Hey, sorry to bother you guys," came Cody's mums sweet voice. "Sophia, do you think I can talk to Cody for a moment please?" she asked looking at me. "Of course. I need to go ask Ali something anyway." I said and smiled at her. I walked by Cody and smiled at me. I walked down the hall and knocked on Ali's door. "Who is it?" I heard her ask. "Sophia." I said. "It's just you right? Cody's not with you?" she asked and I laughed. "No he's not." I said. "Okay you can come in then." she said and I walked into her room. I noticed why she wanted to know if Cody was with me. Because she was in her bra and underwear. "I'm sorry. I just can't find a freaking dress to wear!" she said and I laughed. "You're fine! And feel free to go through my suit case for dresses." I said and her face lit up. "Thank you!!" She said and slipped on a pair of sweatpants and a jacket. "Have you decided what to where?" "Nope." I said with a smile. I turned around when I heard a slight knock on the door and seen Cody standing their. "Hey Soph, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked me and he had a huge smile on his face. "Of course." I said. "Ali, give me like 10 minutes and I promise I'll have a dress for you." I said as Cody came and took my hand, pulling me out of the room. "Okay. Thank you!" I hear her say. Once we were back in the room, Cody looked at me for a moment. "Sophia, I love you. You know that right?" "Of course I do." I said. "Good. Because, I want you to be able to tell me anything and everything." he said. "I want you to know that you can trust me." "I know that I can. Cody, what it this about?" I asked and he came over a took my hands in his. "Soph, my ex girlfriend was texting me this morning, and she was saying that she wanted to take about what happened between us." he said and I could feel my heart racing. "Cody..." I started to say. "But, I'm not going to. I know that I'm in love with you and you're the only person that I want to be with. Forever." He said. I let out a deep breath and smiled at him. "Good, because I don't know what I would do without you." I whispered and then slapped him. "What was that for?" he asked with and amused expression. "That was for scarring the hell out of me." I said and he laughed and then lend down to kiss me. "I'm sorry." he said. "It's alright. Thank you for telling me about it. But, lets just get our stuff packed and get ready for this party tonight." I said. "Alright." he said and kissed me lightly.

Chapter 4

The next day I got out of bed and I had a smile on my face. I couldn't help but think about the day that me and Cody would have today. I was so happy that I got to spend the whole day with him. Expecialy after we almost kissed last night. I giggled at the memory of how close our lips were. I walked into my bathroom and started the shower. I walked back out into the room while the shower was warming up and plugged in my Ipod into the deck and clicked on a random song. I turned it up and went back into the bathroom. I striped down and got into the shower. After I washed my hair and shaved, I turned off the water and walked out. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked down and brushed my teeth. I walked out and looked at my cloths in my closet. Um, what to wear what to wear. I thought to myself. Cody didn't really say what we would be doing today. He just said that he was going to show me around. I sighed and grabbed my phone and dialed his number. He picked up after the first ring. " Hello, love." he said and I couldn't help but smile at that again. " Hey, Cody. I was wondering, what are we doing today? Anything in perticular?" I asked. " Need to know what to wear?" he asked and I laughed. " Yes." I said. " Well, I can't tell you where were going. It's a surprise." he said. I sighed. " There's one thing you should know about me is that I hate surprises." I said. He laughed. " Well you're going to like this one." I sighed. " Fine." " Now go get ready." He said and then hung up laughing. I looked at my closet again. I pulled out a white skirt and a blue jean shirt. I put it on and then looked at it in the mirror. I slipped off the jean shirt and grabbed a white tank-top to go on under the jean shirt. Then grabbed a brown belt and tucked in the jean shirt. I smiled at the outcome and walked back into my bathroom. I dried my hair and then curled it. I put on my make up and walked out. Just then there was a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it then went back into the closet and grabbed my shoes. " You look beautiful." he said as I sat down. I laughed. " Thank you. You don't look to bad you're self." He laughed and then his face turned serious. " Can we talk for a minute?" I looked at him. " Uh oh seems serious." I said. " It kinda is." He said walking over and sitting by me on the bed. He took a deep breath and then started. " Sophie I know that we've only known each other for a couple of days but, I like you." I heard him say and I stopped buckling my shoes to look at him. " I like you too." I said so quietly that I could barely hear myself. He smiled slightly and then looked down. His hand moved over mine and rested there. He looked back up at me and our eyes met. I moved my hand under his so that our hands interlocked with each other. His smile got bigger. " There's something that I've been wanting to do." He said quietly. He sounded like he was really nervious about something. Even though I knew what he was going to do, It still stund my for a minute when he lend in slowly. When our lips met, it was like magic. He kissed me soft but fermly. He moved his hand to my waist and mine went to his shoulder. We sat there kissing for awhile. When we broke apart he smiled at me. " That was totally worth the wait." he said and I laughed and looked down. His hand went under my chin and he moved my attention back to him. " You okay?" " Yeah. I'm fine." I said. He looked at me like he didn't believe me for a minute but he decided to let it go. " Well I'll meet you down in the lobby. I have to go back to my room will quick for something." he said. " Okay." I said as he lend in and kissed me again then let go of me. I grabbed my phone and bag and walked out of my room. I walked down to the elevator and when I got in I couldn't stop smiling. I looked down and unlocked my phone. I quickly texted my best friends Tori and Greyson. They weren't going to believe what happened these past few days. I got off the elevator and heard someone whistle. I looked up and seen Max from behind the check-in counter. I laughed and walked over to him. " Hey stranger." I said. He laughed. " Hey you're self. You look hot. Where are you planing on going?" He asked, I laughed. " Thanks but I'm going out with-" " You ready?" I heard a familiar australian voice and felt an arm wrap around my waist. I smiled up at Cody. " Yeah" I said and looked at Max. " You better stop being such a stranger to me." I said and he laughed. " All right all right." He said with his hands up. I laughed as Cody lead me outside the doors and I could feel many eyes on me. I tried not to look at them but all I could think was, Here We Go.
