Momotaro was investigating the odd rustle in the grass, and it seemed that someone a bit older than him was the cause of the noise. The small peach boy raised a brow to the sight with a confused “hm?”. A small part of his own thoughts was grateful that he wasn’t caught doing something like relieving himself.

As for what he was trying to do, Momotaro was observing the scenery and was lost in thoughts. Catching a fish from the river would be nice for dinner. But what was he going to do now, that someone else was here? Engage in conversation?

            Hearing him saying that there was someone else better out there than him made him truly sad...he couldn’t really be angry towards him and his own feelings, Vanitas knew that Sora was trying really hard to be bright and happy in front of anyone but, deep inside, he had his own insecurities and negative views about himself and probably the world itself.

He grabbed him by his arm and put him closer to him.”Please I don’t like to see you like this, I...don’t want anyone else but you, Sora...you will be always be the only one for me, until the end.” he said with sadness and his voice was slightly broken, he didn’t want him to get more worried about him, the god wouldn’t be able to cry in front of him for that reason.

“I know it’s hard to believe in what you say...actually, i usually think I’m not good enough for anyone from where I come from---I am a demon, I’m the god of the underworld...who in the world would love someone like me? I’ve done a lot of bad things, more than I can count.” he said and pulled Sora into a warm hug, he didn’t want him to let him go, he wasn’t going to let him go.

          As long as he had the power to stay with him, he would...until the day he will have to go to the other side.

The raven sighed and placed his hands on Sora's brown spiky hair, running his fingers through that soft hair."some things don't change, don't tell me you gonna do this everyday?" He didn't mind, actually, he would only allow Sora to be this way with him.
