The younger lass repetitively danced around the older female, with her mien reflecting the same amusement and joy the latter was projecting. Their laughter was echoing within the huge confinement– as if it was occupied by a much more and merrier crowd. The younger was doing a routine from a traditional Korean dance with her hand gently holding onto the the older one’s as they swirled around together.

“Your Countess, again, may you dance with me?” the one wearing the hat wittingly asked, offering her and doing a graceful bow all at once. She heard her ‘eonni’ emitting a much louder laughter, which made her glimpse, a huge grin forming on her tiers. Gradually, she lifted her gaze, her head still bowed down – and mischievously complained. “Eonni! I was asking you! You have to be prepared! What if there’s another guy asking you to dance with him?”

“Dongsaeng-ah, with you around, I highly doubt someone would even attempt considering that,” the older hissed after her tiers elicited a snicker– though, her delight and assurance was still present; and perhaps has been there for a long time even when they were younger. She would always protect the younger and so as would she be protected by the latter. She subtly patted the younger’s shoulder before pulling her up; a contented beam graced her features as she held the latter’s hands and swayed into the music, “and I should be the one telling you that.”

“Psh, eonni, you know well that I am capable of eliminating every man I don’t prefer,” the latter hissed whilst having a conceited cheeky grin, though her eonni’s icy glare cracked her into a fist of laughter. She danced with her instead and once more did the routines for a male partner. “It doesn’t matter eonni, I’ll be your partner until the right man comes to take your hand from me.”

“Since when did you become this sappy?”

“Learned from oppa!” and both laughed.

Slowly, he uncovered her sight by pulling away his hands from her eyes. “Surprise,” he whispered against her ear as his tiers let his infamous cheeky grin and whilst he glanced over her features. Subtle laughter escaped from him after witnessing the positive reactions from his lady– with her orbs even rounded and her slim fingers attempting to conceal the delighted squeal she was producing.

“Happy anniversary, babe,” he still couldn’t help but be amused as she got redder and confined herself to where she was standing. He abruptly wrapped his arms around her waist before he leaned his chin on top of her shoulder blade, “Seriously, if you will only stand here the food will get wasted and we won’t be able to do what we have to do.”

“I thought you forgot and just lazed around, you idiot–” she exclaimed– or almost whined– before she turned around to embrace him, then repetitively pecking his pairs. “Is this why you told me to wear a white dress even if we aren’t even leaving home?” She has her brow raised, yet her amusement echoed as she chuckled. “In the end, you are still lazy to go out at all.”

He shushed her before planting a gentle kiss on her tainted tiers, and then his subtle chortle fused with hers. “I’d rather do stuff here at home than go out. You are too beautiful this day, love. And, I only want you to look at me while spending the whole night together, heh.” With his uttered words, she rolled her eyes yet her cheeks were rather painted with a pinkish shade.

“I love you, Nayoung-ah.”

“I love you too, Yoon Jeonghan.”
