Bobby being the exact opposite of Groddy probably throws her off at first , but also piques Catfeine's interest . She ends up finding excuses to either go visit her or bring her to the café .
Bobby doesn't mind , she loves hanging out with friends and getting to know them . Catfeine gradually tells Bobby all about the frowning critters and her struggles to keep them happy , and Bobby sympathizes with her , and offers to try helping . Seven whole sad critters can be a lot for a single happy critter to deal with after all !
Catfeine is so taken back that someone can be so gentle and caring , listen to her without interrupting or getting upset at her .
I like that idea that Bobby is able to tell when everyone is in love BUT herself . So Catfeine has to make to first move . She probably expects that a critter of love would have very high standards , and sets up the most romantic looking decor she can in the café , putting together a love themed assortment of pastries , working hard to ensure everything is perfect before the bear arrives . And once Bobby does arrive , she's shocked at all the effort Catfeine put in just for her
I can see Catfeine saying something to her like . "I know I'm not the best critter out there , i-i'm extremely hyper , and impulsive , and I've got more baggage than I'd like to admit , but I really REALLYYYYY like you ,,,"
And Bobby would just take the feline's paws into hers and give her a kiss <3
