Coggins
Her gears were stiff, her wires were frayed, but with the horrors of Plato's lab far behind and her journey's end in sight, Coggins powered on. God willing, they'd reach Farwatch by nightfall.
After I broke down my walls, after I showed him my true feelings
He didn’t accept me, be tried to reshape me in little ways.
He turned my sad journal into a happy one, but never showed me how to cope with him leaving.
He took the happy journal
I took my pride.
Their destination was finally in sight.
Before setting off on the next stretch of their trek, Coggins and Parasite filled their tanks. While Parasite supped her bottle, Coggins made use of the former brewery's bar. Even the most tenacious adoptive parent would be driven to drink in her situation. SimBots can't develop drinking habits, can they?
Coggins spent the afternoon trying (and failing) to teach princess Parasite her first word.
Coggins wished to gain the Fishing skill. She sustained herself on scrap metal salvaged from Woeford’s pulverised ruins and sold surplus to afford Parasite’s baby formula. With an extra mouth to feed, perhaps Powder Lake would provide a sustainable food source for her extraterrestrial wards.
The second leg of Coggins' and Parasite's trek to Farwatch took them as far as Chumbuckets where a peculiar visitor anticipated their arrival.
