Oh boy, I have been extra busy these past weeks, that’s why I haven’t been able to post almost anything (besides from reblogs) anyway, I wanted to give it a try at this technique, is pretty fun to play around with it, I really enjoyed all the designs here, mostly that girl with the dress
So, i was trying out Syrcas coil technique and, no matter how hard i was trying, i couldnt get the hang of it, all the swirls were giving me a headache and then bam.
Out of my frustration and headache and grumpiness, i did this.
And now i’m fucking in love with the coil technique.
Thanks to Camilla for posting this very useful video. Try it out on your figures...
i've been trying out that coil technique, and it really works. i am so bad at perspective, and i even managed to do a half decent horse with this technique. u should all try it, it's so wonderful
I tried coil technique per this video. Cause I got art block and in dire need of retracing back to summon my art power, again.
Where has this been all my life? :'D
Had a try at this with Sophie, wasn't sure how it'd end up 'cause of the style. That, and I suck at drawing coils for some reason XD
Told you my coil drawing was amazingly bad XD Although it didn't go too badly at all, considering :D
And now I'm off to watch more of this guy's vids >D
So I tried coiling technique and wow it works
Yet sometimes i fail with it
The first try is the one i like most
