CoinArch Looks To Make A Splash In The Chinese Bitcoin Derivative Market

China is one of those financial markets where every financial product, service or technology wants to get a foothold. However, doing exactly that is not as easy as one might think, as the Chinese government is not too keen on financial solutions that come from outside of the country. Bitcoin has made an impact in China as it is seeing tremendous volume across Chinese exchanges, and the derivative based Bitcoin trading platform CoinArch has expanded their business in that direction as well.
Expanding one’s business to China is not as straightforward as you might think, simply because of the aforementioned reason. However, once your platform starts getting a lot of interest from potential Chinese customers, the story changes dramatically, and because of that increased interest from the Chinese community, CoinArch CEO Jeremy Glaros decided to try and make a splash in the Chinese market.

Bitcoin Derivatives Trading Platform Coinarch Expands into China

Derivatives-focused bitcoin trading platform Coinarch is making a push into the Chinese market, with the launch of dedicated local branding and support staff.
The new operation, with the address Coinarch.cn, will be named 币琪 (pronounced ‘bi-qi’). Coinarch is now in the process of registering a local subsidiary and aims to be perceived as a local company, in order to better challenge established competitors like Huobi, OKCoin and BTC China.
Coinarch’s team will also maintain a presence on popular Chinese social networks like Weibo, WeChat and QQ.

Coinarch to Test New Bitcoin Trading Platform Next Week

Bitcoin startup Coinarch has announced that it will allow for bets of up to 8 times to be placed on the digital currency. The trading platform’s pricing will be based off of the Bitstamp bitcoin exchange. Coinarch’s beta testing phase will begin next week.
The closed beta testing will include selected participants to ensure security protocol is up to speed. This will be done to try and avoid the same mistakes made by Japanese bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox. The selected few will relate any concerns about the testing to appropriate Coinarch officials.
The Singapore-based company includes that it will look to hedge itself against profits and losses of traders on the platform. The inaugural state of the testing platform will only accept Bitcoin startup and focus primarily on Asian markets, such as Hong Kong and Singapore.
