...They're out cold. Maybe Chilchuck should have put him down before letting Shroomy use the Coinchuck Fixing Potion. He should have known that suddenly carrying a tall half-foot was a recipe for disaster.
*I give coinchuck a little capful of sugar water and a small peeled orange slice.*

The little coinbug is at first resistant to trying the sugar water and orange slice, but the smell of fresh orange and sugar is just too enticing. He tentatively nibbles at the orange slice, and then starts eating ravenously. It's good. He makes a little jingling noise of contentment.
He won't let you pick him up, but he'll accept the apple slices if you've got some spare.
Nanlynn seems confused but interested in the design the coinbug had. she was considering putting it on her shoulder but she wasn't sure if it wanted that so she decided to take off her scarf, place it on the counter before placing the coinbug on it.
She has no idea that it was actually the tavern owner himself
The coinbug squirms uncomfortably when picked up, but settles right down when given something soft and warm to rest on. It seems Nanlynn has been forgiven for now.
Chilchuck walks into the tavern, still looking a little weary about everything. Hey, uh…Chil? That’s still so weird… Look, I was wondering- He stops and looks around, noticing how empty the place is. Weird… I was sure he was open today… He was about to leave when he noticed a coin bug on the ladder. It looked… Scared? He looked up to see two amulets that looked awfully familiar to the one he wore to prevent forced transformations. He quickly puts two and two together and rushed behind the counter. Hold on! Let me help you!

Coinchuck seems very grateful for the rescue, crawling into Chilchuck's hands when given the chance. It's six spindly little legs wrap around Chilchuck's pointer finger and hold on for dear life, the rattling of it's trembling making a sound akin to the jingling of gold in a coin pouch.
It is unlikely that the little treasure bug is going to let go any time soon.
