A Pirate's Life is the life for me.

One of my favorite things about Coinneach is that his long, and I mean long, pirates' hat/wizard hat, is a shifter. She shifts into the ship he was raised on, and his cloak? It's his flag. I lowkey ate with this one.

Hey Vikki, back at it again with the shitty OCs :’D

So this is Coinneach, a Scottish Selkie character I’ve had for years but have only really blown the dust off him in the last day or so - he’s been around since about since 2006 I think.

He follows the traditional trope of the selkie shifter - transforming into a Grey Seal when he slips into his sealskin, and he’s fascinated with the world of humans, despite strong warnings from his family. He’s sweet and joyful and loves to run and dance and learn, but his kind nature tends to have humans take advantage of him now and again. His vitiligo and hair follow a similar spot pattern that’s present on his sealskin ;w;
