"There's not much to talk about. We were home-schooled, me and Brynn. There were a few other kids our age in the group, mostly from smaller families. There was one boy in particular that I was...close with when we were teens. I trusted him. I was a fucking idiot. He was just trying to get in good with me to get in gran's good graces and I was the one that was easier on the eyes. After that, I didn't let anyone else get close. One-night stands, mostly. A couple of flings that lasted a couple of weeks here and there, nothing that meant anything after him until I met Wilder."
