It didn’t happen often but Colette was closing the bar after drawing the short straw. She was fairly certain that Chayton and Judas had cheated somehow, but it wasn’t like she could prove it. She was good at magic, sure, but had nothing on a trickster. 

The door opening during after hours only further soured her mood and she turned from the door, barely sparing the other a glance as she continued to stock bottles.

“Bar’s closed.”
