Cold Brewed Tea
Cold brewed coffee has been all the rage for some time now but have you ever heard of cold brewed tea? Well it's the same concept as cold brewed coffee, just with tea and it is super easy to make! It is extremely flavorful, so much so that I would even venture to say non tea drinkers would fall in love with tea prepared this way. Below are the instructions on how to make it, if you try it or have tried this before let me know what you think/thought of it!
How to Make Cold Brewed Tea
Take loose leaf tea and/or herbs, a tea bag, or fill a tea strainer with herbs and/or tea (I use about 1 tbsp of herbs). Place whatever you have chosen into a jar with 12 ounces of water. Let it sit overnight, covered or up to 24 hours and then it's ready! Serve over ice or drink as is.
Note: Make sure to strain the herbs if you decided to infuse them without a strainer. Also, I personally do not recommend teas that come in tea bags. As most of them contain plastic, therefore they aren't good for us or the environment. The only brand that I know of and have tried that is plastic free is Pukka brand tea.
