Summer barely started here in Poland and I’m tired of it already.
For a person who hate hot weather and is very temperature sensitive like me, summer is the worst time of the year. Really. I dehydrate and overheat very quickly, I often feel dizzy and tired, overheated even when I’m at home. I often have headaches and I struggle with hot waves washing over my body all the time. I have problems with sleeping because of the hot waves (seriously I can sleep naked and still feel it) and being sweaty. I hate being sweaty when it’s caused by the temperature because it makes me feel dirty all the time. Sometimes I feel like I could spend a whole day in bathtub filled with cold water.
I’m doing everything I can to cool down and feel at least a little bit better. Loose clothes, drinking lots of water etc. But often it’s simply not working. It’s tiring, frustrating and I get angry easily.
Can’t wait ‘till the end of this hell
“A flower at the corner of a street, a cat. God creates thousands of differences in every detail on Earth.”
“If God loves you, even if you burn furiously in a fire, your heart would be like a bed of roses. No one would refrain from fire; what is troubling and distressing is losing Gods amity. They do not get that properly. They take it as if it is something like fearing fire. As a matter of fact, you would be losing Gods affection for all eternity and that is a terrible plague.”
Very nice !
The Phantom Guest
Natalie Clifford Barney
We lay in shade diaphanous And spoke the light that burns in us
As in the glooming’s net I caught her, She shimmered like reflected water!
Romantic and emphatic moods Are not for her whom life eludes...
Its vulgar tinsel round her fold? She'd rather shudder with the cold,
Attend just this elusive hour, A shadow in a shadow bower,
A moving imagery so fine, It must have been her soul near mine
And so we blended and possessed Each in each the phantom guest,
Inseparate, we scarcely met; Yet other love-nights we forget!
