  The mare squints at both stallion & bouquet with suspicion. They looked like regular bundles of lavender, but who knows what he did to them.   Dipped them in poison? Or had he cast a curse on it? Luna wouldn’t put it past him.   But yet, she took the flowers anyways- the cutting look still upon her face as she casts another spell. Nothing. She couldn’t find any trace of magic upon it aside from her own. Hmm.

“  ... Thank you for the gift.  ”  she speaks, more out of habit than the genuine urge to be polite. Celestia’s lessons still managed to worm their way into her brain apparently- funny how that works ...

After a upwards of a year following his reformation Pharynx had established a guard of fellow reformed changelings to guard the hive from external and internal threats. His brother Thorax the now respected changeling ruler had wished to establish ties with the Crystal Empire and sent Pharynx to talk over trade deals and work out a cultural exchange program with the empires representative on neutral ground.

“Where is the empires envoy. I’ve been waiting here for hours. Ugh why did Thorax send me of all changelings to talk with ponies.”

Beginning to grow impatient Pharynx started to consider that maybe these ponies were setting up an ambush. Wanting to remain on guard he sent a small number of his guard to scout the area around the chosen meeting area.

  There was a ghost of a smirk on her lips, as she trotted up to the kings side- who seemed wistful and distant. Not an unusual case, she’d seen it before.   Luna gazed out beyond the balcony, the cool summer night wind ruffling mane and feathers, dim stars shimmering up in the velvet sky of night. She glances at the unicorn.

“ D’you think that if you stars long enough, one might fly through the sky and you’d be able to wish on it? ” She asked innocently, but a knowing look in teal eyes could easily give away what was underneath.
