Meme takes notice of Vortex’s odd behaviour almost instantly. The helicopter gets close, too close, draping his arm over Meme’s shoulders to pull him closer. Second hand moves to turn him, now wrapping both limbs in something of a hug. That alone should give Meme ample red flags to act. Vortex hates hugging. And yet, Meme merely watches him.

Big mistake.

That mask slides off and he’s met with an assault of kisses on his face and lipplates. Meme recoils, throwing his helm back in disgust. That embrace keeps him glued to Vortex and no matter how much he struggles, Vortex doesn’t stop his attempts.

“VORTEX. NO. STOP IT. STOP.”

Weeks had gone by since he’d conversed with Swindle, whom had caught the DJD Leader’s optic. They made a deal anyways. Fully knowing beforehand that Swindle was part of a Combiner group, he had go ahead and meet the others. It’d be rude if he didn’t do that. So he took it upon himself to meet Vortex at least. Even though the Peaceful Tyranny could easily find mechs as long as their own transponders weren’t tampered with in any fashion, Tarn decided to not be a creep and go ahead and send a comm along. Dark claws held onto a phone instead of speaking through his own communications line. Why? Sometimes he enjoyed being old-fashioned.

She smiled to the mech, one of her shoulders shrugging. “Keeping your head down and working does that to some people. Mostly me.” She considered her words, her nose crinkling. “Though it could apply to you, given the occupation.”

Back on Earth once more he was not the happiest mech given this dirtball of a planet was tricky to hunt on. The natives were too nosy for their own good and got into things they shouldn’t that is for sure. The bounty was for a mech named Vortex for crimes which made even him look twice and seemed to be famous for escaping his holding cells, this will be interesting.  Landing he transformed and headed out leaving the Steeljaw on his shuttle for now he could call them when needed. For now he would scout to see what he could find.

A New Partner

  Just what Nebulous wanted to do today, go on a mission with an unknown bot. But they didn’t have the sweet option of saying no to it, they’re already walking on thin ice as is, and they don’t want to spend their time tiptoeing around. 

  All Nebulous was given was a description of the bot, no name, nothing. Stepping into docking area, they look around for their new partner. The mech’s description was that he was a helicopter, and nearly thirty feet tall, and he has red optics. Going over the description one more time, Nebulous searches around for someone like that.

  Scrunching their brows, and deciding he might not have arrived yet, they stand and wait for him, while going through the mission details again. It was a capture and interrogation mission. 

  The last few they went on, their previous partner killed the poor bots before they got any useful information, maybe this one will have a better handle with that. Nebulous somehow got hit with the blame on those missions, and they were severely punished, even though they had tried to stop their partner.

  Softly sighing, they look around again and twitch their tendrils, waiting for the mech.
