Cold Brew Iced Coffee-Vietnamese Style
I continue my series of cool, iced, frozen and delicious coffee drinks as we continue 112 degrees day after day in Arizona!
This one is a sweet one...and one I have enjoyed before. I did a blog earlier in the year about Vietnamese Coffee and using a Vietnamese Pfin Coffee Filter. In case you didn't read that one...click here.
HOWEVER...since I've been BIG on the Cold Brew Coffee, I thought I would just create the Vietnamese coffee via cold brew. So no...not as authentic but just as delicious.
All you need;
cold brew coffee concentrate
sweetened condensed milk (2-3 tablespoons) more or less to taste
ice
To find the recipe for Cold Brew "how-to", click here. I'm a big fan of cold brew and as I mentioned before, the process provides a much smoother taste, not bitter, and yet still enjoy the flavors of the beans.
Directions;
Grab a glass and fill with ice. Fill glass with cold brew concentrate about halfway. You can add more later if you need to. Add 2-3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk and stir. If you like it a little sweeter, feel free to add more...no one is looking (wink wink smiley face). Add more cold brew concentrate to the top if you feel you've added to much of the sweetened condensed milk.
That's it!!!! Its such a different dessert iced coffee to serve to family & friends when entertaining at home. Think of an impromptu gathering with friends. A great salad with fresh bread and this wonderful Vietnamese style iced coffee with cold brew.
Cheers!
