Andy didn’t comment the matter with anyone, not even his best friend nor school mates he gave along with, but the environment at home hasn’t been the best and it eventually did lead to his parents divorce. Maybe that even lead him to not take much interest in the things other guys his age did, although he of course still tried to maintain a good vibe and make friends, he still set himself aside a lot, didn’t had any love interested although finding a few girls at school kind of cute, but -- All seemed to be tasteless, without meaning.
He needed a change.
It was difficult to tell his mom, to make her understand it was the best. this way she could just travel with her new husband all she would want, he wouldn’t need to explain to his peers why he was so low and it would be nice to be with the old man. He knew his dad was still on his own and focused on work, so a good time with Charlie would be nice.
“Blue is nice, right? You like blue?” His father questioned as he presented him to the old room they would visit every Summer on Forks, which now had just some fairy lights on top of the headboard and new covers. Same old, just a new face.
“Yeah, it’s whatever dad. Blue is nice.” Andy tried to offer a small smile to his father and left his bag by a corner of the room, while his father nodded once and left. At least the best about Charlie was that he didn’t hover.
But would his new classmates? He felt nervous for the first day and he felt awful for leaving Aaron and the other guys behind. Starting all anew sucked, but he couldn’t complain seeing he was the one wanting the change.
Andy didn’t do much from there, just got to see a girl his age he apparently did mud pies with together, which was nice he thought. She was kind of cute too, but he couldn’t say much to her for how awkward he has been feeling lately, actually rejoiced when getting his new -- Or well, not so new truck and felt very lucky for having it ready for him, seeing that on this first day it was what he drove on his way to classes.
