A small town with large secrets you aren't sure how to find your footing moving from the lively pace of the Outer Banks to the calm that the mountains offer.

The Coffee Shop Owner: Jodi Grace Abernathy, March 19th 1975 The coffee shop has been in her family since it opened. Originally just an ice cream parlor they expanded to meet a need they saw in their small community. Jodi always wanted to go to culinary school, but could never afford it due to her brothers constant medical needs. She doesn't resent her family, because despite it all they've done what they can to support her. (Romanceable by Women only)
The Adventurer: Joan/Jett Davis, September 19th 1981 They set to be free from the town that they came from. Leaving 2 weeks before they turned 18, no one bothered to look for them. In their free time, they explore the mines, and during work hours, they give guided tours for minimum wage. They are roommates with Beth. The Creative: Arturo Medina, July 5th 1979 Arturo, originally from Charlotte, has been living in the area only a few more years than Joan/Jett. Coming just as the record shop owner wanted to move further south to be closer to his daughter; Arturo took over running the store. He rents out the apartment over top and is working on writing his first book.
The Cop: James (Jamie) Brooks Jr., January 17th 1974 James family has been in this town since anyone can remember. His father was the chief of police, and he hopes to do the same with his career. Divorced from Beth, his former high school sweetheart due to irreconcilable differences. He spends his free time playing darts at the local bar. (Romanceable by Women only)
The Park Ranger: Bethany (Beth) Miller, February 25th 1974 Beth loves being in nature, but something about the mines worries her. She hates that her roommate (Joan/Jett) takes people on tours of the mines. She knows in her soul that something isn't right. The town acts like nothing happens, but in the last decade, 14 people have died. She knows of the voice and when she tried to tell James, he accused her of lying to conceal her infidelity.
The PA: Mandy/Marcus Dawes, September 24th 1975, Mandy/Marcus isn’t from Raven Hill but did grow up in a neighboring town in Haywood County. Driven by the need they have seen in their community and others like it, they chose to become a PA and work at the Raven Hill Clinic that Dr. Shaw, the local doctor, opened.
The Roommate: Diana/Dustin Moore, May 16th 1976 Your best friend through tears, finals, that one really weird thing you swore not to speak of ever again, and life beyond. They found this town first, and after you lost everything they welcomed you with open arms, just like old times. What trouble will you get up to or will trouble seek you both out?
The Mine Voice: The Forgotten/ The Lost Birthless since the existence of man, feels like a Capricorn A mystery older than the town that has sat in the mountains for the last two centuries. It remembers how the air tasted before the fog set in and how the land sang before the hands of man tore into her and bled her dry.
