I am so sorry for Lydia Night that she had to deal with something like this, also grateful that she has spoken. That’s very brave. On the other hand, FUCK COLE, SEB, MAX AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO COVERED FOR JOEY. In fact they’re STILL trying to cover for him. It is really fucked up. And finally, FUCK JOEY for EVERYTHING he has done to her and other women. More people should know that swmrs are manipulative hypocrites, who cannot even ACCEPT their horrible mistakes.

It was not easy for me to read that post. I got scared and couldn’t believe. We all believed in their sincerity and liked what they present. And now we are all terrified and disappointed. You guys deserved better. Feel free to talk to me about this. ❤️

I stand with and am in complete support of Lydia Night.

This is fucking disgusting, and as a big fan of swmrs I am pissed at myself for being conflicted about how I feel toward the rest of the band.

Joey is a predator, a manipulator, a disgusting human. As far as I am aware, the rest of the band are also incredibly problematic for not calling this out or putting a stop to it.

It fucking sucks SO much more because of their performative wokeness. I have supported, respected, hell, even fucking idolised this band (or at least a couple of members) for their loud and proud defence of women’s rights, activism and political correctness, so it is really painful to know that 1) Joey was an abuser and 2) nobody did a n y t h i n g about it. If there had been action on any other member’s part, I could possibly forgive them.

Cancel culture is certainly intense and to an extent often taken too far, but if you won’t even admit to the wrongness of your actions and barely acknowledge that it was abuse, you’re seriously fucked.

I don’t want to cancel this band. They are one of my favourites. But I seriously can’t see any way to support any members (especially joey) until they apologise and take some fucking responsibility.
