it's been almost a year (the anniversary is tomorrow) since my grandpa's passing. i lost months of this year to grief and depression. i am better now. the dilapidation of my mental health led me to a new, better set of medications and an autism diagnosis. the media i focused on to feel anything but sadness don't trigger me anymore.

but sometimes the associations still click into place and i cry about robots fanart for no reason, just because the emotions are too close.
