Today we made the trailer for our short film La Llorona we tired to keep the suspense up as much as possible throughout the trailer and we tried to keep it as shot as possible so as not to give much away, we cut to black after most scene and had a bit of the dialogue. We also had a jump scare at the end of the hand after the title had been on screen

Advice

Today I got some advice on to different areas I can improve the pan down shot and the darken shot where the lights turn off. 

Scene 13 Panning down shot:

> Let the mask move its self instead of me moving it each fames as it will me a smooth movement over the disjointed ones I have done so far. 

> Use the feather effect on the masking tool under the bed. 

Scene 10 Eye roll lights turning off:

> Use the Lametric colour effect. It makes the lights turning off look more natural and not like a colour has just been put over the top. 

All of this advice is really good and it is going to help me so much when I come to theses scene as I want them to look as good as possible.
